Thank you for you help lokkau. Ok I found out how to fill in the crossword puzzle from reading the comments on Tes but now I have no Idea how to start the quest "A Warlocks Luck" , I've been to the Bravil Jail but cant figure out what I need to do once I'm there. Also where do I go to start "Eye of the Beholden" quest, I use OOO and I have a few map markers that I haven't been to yet so I've no way of knowing which one is for "Eye of the Beholden" quest, and I'm in no hurry to go to an OOO marker unprepared. :toughninja:
I would read the FAQ's if the link wasn't dead, so I have no option but to ask here. I really do appreciate all the help I have been given so far. :icecream:

Ok, let me see if I can remember this correctly (sorry I don't have very good memory!)
For A Warlock's Luck, you need to go into the jail (I think you tell the guard you want to visit or something, and he lets you in and follows you). Go all the way down till you come to a room with some markings on the floor. Activate the floor to teleport. Beware: I found this world to be pretty large, and tough as well. But it was lots of fun!

As for the Eye of the Beholden, go to the Shrine of Beholden, which is southeast of Leyawiin. It bears a shrine icon and is way down there, you can't miss it if it's marked on your map.

Before the Astral Gate will work (the one that bears an uncanny resemblance to another kind of "gate" in a popular Sci Fi TV series), you need to complete a specific task within the astral planes entered via the oval-shaped portal.

put an astral beacon cap plant or two on the first astral platform? With access to the Ice Walk spell, it's less cryptic than trying to boost across with the force push spell.

the Midas Bomb explosion is not considered an attack and can be used to kill NPCs with no penalty and does not alert enemies.


Last comment for now. Objects placed in the bucket of the catapult have a habit of passing through it and falling to the ground when it fires. Probably a limitation of the game's physics engine though.

3. How do you enter the cheat codes for Midas Magic items? Like if I wanted one unit of Greater Arcane Essence (ID: xx031134), I would enter player.additem xx031134 1 but that didn't work. Are the cheat codes different from the regular ones for the original items?


It all depends on where the mod is in your load order. For example, all standard Oblivion items begin with "01" because Oblivion. esp is the first loaded. So, if the Midas one is the second mod loaded, it would be "02". So, if you have the Midas mod as your second loaded mod then the item would be 02031134. Hope that helps.

Just a quick question about the Astral travel quest. I've started up the heart and activated the stargate style gate, and it says about trying to find clues to the worlds. Well, I know it's the Crossworld/crossword thing on the desk, and have travelled to the other worlds, but the quest hasn't updated itself. Am I supposed to have used the crossword somehow? Whenever I activate it, it just comes up like a normal document and isn't interactive. I've gone to all the worlds, collected all the books and done all the quests but the Astral quest just sits there in my journal doing nothing. Any idea what I've done wrong?

Little request if you find a few minutes in between doing all the difficult stuff other people want ^^

Could you please split the Aurum Incantatem in Midas Shop into different volumes? With the total amount of spells in there right now I spend more time on searching the right reciepe then finding the actual items needed for the spells. ;)

Great mod! I had this mod a while ago before i stopped playing oblivion, i've recently got back into the game and i downloaded the latest version of the mod. Wow, i think the number of spells has doubled, i can't imagine how much time you must have put into this mod. The astral realms are definitely a much more exciting way of discovering new spells.

Do you think it would it be possible to add a collision type effect similar to what happens when a vanilla lightning spell hits a wall to spells like megavolt?

Also several spells dont cause npcs/guards to react when they are hit. <-------- just letting you know, not like i'm complaining ^^

Edit: i also seem to lose my hair for a second in the blast of some spells like column of fire, maybe because i changed my hair after the initial menu at the start of the game, but i just thought i'd let you know. Also, when firing spells up in the air (especially the nuke) they seem to stray quite a distance to the side of my crosshair. Also the nuke somtimes goes in a random direction and dosen't explode. (Sorry if these things have already been said)

Are you using custom hair? It's unavoidable that if 2 objects which both use transparency overlap on your screen, one of them will become invisible for that time. You can notice the same if you look at your character through a spider web or waterfall.

For the spells straying, that's because of vanilla Oblivion scripting having no way to properly calculate angles. So the spells will stray if you shoot them upwards or downwards.

Vanilla hair but a custom colour i think. Anyhow, i'm learning ^^

Also i'm wondering if anyone else is getting this: I go outside midas' shop and test spells on the npcs at the Arcane University quite alot, i then load a save game before i tried them out so i don't have bounty. But then when i go out again, the sounds, and somtimes the whole spells replay again. For example i currently get a comet on my head every time i walk outside the shop =D

Hey everyone,i think this mod is really good but im with 2 small problems :lol: (im so pissed,i feel i will explode soon :flame: :nuke: )
1-The world where you go to when you put the password TAR i cant find any book,door or anything that lets me pass from the part where you enter the tar pit.
2-The astral realm quest(main quest)does not update after ive found the worm gate.
If some could help I would be very apreciated.

What an awsome and incredible mod. I am completely amazed by the extent of it. Plus the newest version actually works for me too which is teh best thing ever. Several of the realms used to cause crashes on my char as well as the

First things first: Your mod has continually impressed me the more I have delved into it, and I love every caveat of it.

Anyway, I have a question regarding the "Stone Storm" spell. I've noticed that is has a nasty tendency of throwing items held by NPC's through walls and other objects at the time of their deaths, never to be seen again. Would it be possible to edit the spell to have these items "stick" to the NPC's inventory?

Hello, guys. I was wondering if anyone would be able to solve a little problem I have.

I downloaded the latest version of this mod a few days ago, and today I finally got my character to have enough magicka to use a few of the spells.

Well, I tried two spells and my problem is that there's no sound when I cast the spells... at least for the two I've tried.

I tried using "Mida's Force Ball", but when I cast the spell I hear no sound until the blue rings hit someone and the ball pushes them away. I hear the custom sound, but not the sound that's supposed to play when I cast the spell. I found a video of the spell here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qRDmx7Hd7g I only hear the sound that's played when the blue rings hit someone.

I also tried "Midas' Stun Gas", and with that spell I hear no sound at all. No sound played when the spell is cast, and no sound from the gas hitting someone (if it's even supposed to play a sound).

I tried to redownload the mod, but that didn't help. I also tried to use version 0980, but that didn't help either. =(

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And yes, I do have the BSA file in my data folder.

I know there are ~2 laying around upstairs at Weynon Priory, and some monks where them.

I have a problem with one of the Planes quests.

In the Plane of Unlife, I can't seem to find the Blade of The Fathers anywhere. I've checked every container everywhere I could think, and I'ce been through the underarea several times, and still can't find it. Can anyone tell me where it is?

Thanks. You're on the right track with the holy spells, but HJ will only weaken him. Try a combo of spells

Not alot I can do about that. The issue is with the physics engine.

Hey xilver :)

I've been using your mod for a long time now, and I think it's awesome in every sense. The worlds, the spells, every detail...

I'm redoing the quests and I'm stuck at the astral plane comeback. Iirc, there was something to do there after you start with the worlds, and I think it's related to the purple moon at the Claw, but I'm not sure what to do with it, for no arrows hit it, neither common spells nor can I visit it, for it's got no volume at all.

Can you give me a hint about that part of Astral World solution? (I'll recheck Midas library in case there's something mentioned there)

Hey Xilver, could you tell me again the console command for resetting infamy to 0? I'm having an issue with the KotN questline and this would help me out a lot...
