Middle Mouse button on Laptop

Post » Fri Aug 12, 2011 4:43 pm

I'm trying to use Blender on my Laptop but I don't have a Mouse on my laptop so I can't change the ViewPoint. Can someone tell me an alternate button from the MMB?

In the options (pull down the top bar), you can choose to emulate MMB behavior using alt+click.

No problem. However, I can't imagine getting anything done in Blender without a proper mouse, MMB or not. Good luck!

On mine i click both the right and left mouse buttons. Ubuntu moves the entire window when i use the alt+click motion. So, maybe try that?

I agree here. One of the first things I did when I got my laptop was to get a regular mouse. Now I cant imagine not using a mouse with at least 5 buttons. hah
