Midgetalien

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:16 am

Hello? Ok i am new at this so please gorgive my ignorance.

I am posting on behalf of "midgetalien" as you would call him. I am his Cusion and he asked me to post he to say that his mods are on hold as he is currently ill. I presume i am in the right section as someone on his MSN linked me to here. I have access to his MSN to keep in contact with his friends as he left his mobile at home, ths idiot that he is haha.

He just wanted to let you all know he is ok and that he will be back on the scence in a week or two.

Wow this is weired, been talking to his friends and people from the elderscrells commuinty most of the night, just a bit odd.

Anyway its nothing "serious" ( pray to god ) but on of his demands was to let you know that he is still working on the diablo project. Does that mean anything to you??? Hope i got the right place....

Correct in all aspects!

MA has been a bit ill recently, and I wish him a speedy and full recovery.

And yes, he is making a Diablo 2 Mod project that adds aspects of Diablo 2 to morrowind, it looks fantastic.

Tell him a Black Hand told him to stop driving on the wrong side of the road :P !

ahh he will be fine. He is a strong little sod and just goes through the bad every now and then. its just a flare up of his Perthe's disease in his knee. Normally he treats the pain with pain killers But its been a lot worse recently due to Temprature change, so he had to go to hospital for something stonger. Dont know how much of this he wants me to tell you - Short story, he will be fine in a few days minum. 2 weeks maximum :)

Just he is worried thats all - hence all the "conatcting" people on MSN to re assure them. Would be alot easier if he didnt leave his mobile at his uni home. But thats something else, he will hate me for saying that hahaha

Hope he gets better soon. This winter weather seems to be getting to everyone.... speaking of which. I need to go to bed before I get sick.

Thanks for letting us know though :)

Just to help everyone better understand the situation:
Perthes is a condition in children characterized by a temporary loss of blood supply to the hip. Without an adequate blood supply, the rounded head of the femur (the " ball " of the " ball and socket " joint of the hip) dies. The area becomes intensely inflamed and irritated.

Although the term 'disease' is still used, Perthes is really a complex process of stages. Treatment of Perthes may require periods of immobilization or limitations on usual activities. The long-term prognosis is good in most cases. After 18 months to 2 years of treatment, most children return to normal activities without major limitations.

Anyhow, MA, my prayers and best wishes are with you. :goodjob:

Does that mean Midgetalien is much younger than I am? (I'm 26) Or that he's having an outbreak of that Perthes again? I'm a little confused here. He doesn't quite strike me as a kid. :)

Also,
strong little sod

He's a pile of dirt!?! Man, that's kind of creepy.

Yes, he's a very young child. But since he's also a piece of sod, which is usually "as old as dirt," the reality lies somewhere in the middle..."uni" age, or early 20's. :P

Well, as a fellow Brit, I can see how the drastic changes in weather might have been troublesome in that regards, and I'm sorry to hear about this (kind of puts my complaining about the disrupted train service into perspective o.o).
Well, I expect that he'll read this thread once he gets out of the ol' Hospital anyway, but tell him Earth Wyrm said 'Yo'.
(You might want to take a notepad for all of these small messages ;))
