I really hope the March 30th Early Access date means midnight, Eastern, March 30 !

You mean 12:01 am 3/30 or 11:59 pm 3/30 - ie: at the very beginning of the 30th or at the very end of the 30th?

Oddly, the beta always seemed to open up 2-3 hours before the allotted to time, presumably to trickle players in. I wouldn't doubt that they will likely do the same here, so more like 9 or 10 pm Eastern 3/29 I'm guessing. I wish there was official word on this.

yeah its common practice to open up servers a bit earlier than announced to have less people log on at the same time....if servers go up at midnight in the us, then over here in germany it will be like early in the morning I think....damn I hate to wake up early, but gotta secure my names as fast as possible lol

I hope it is the morning on the 30th otherwise I have 5 days early access when I will be at work for 5 days

Logically, if the game officially launches on the 4th @ 10am, the early access 5-dayers would be allowed in at 10am on the 30th?

it will be interesting if it is midnight on the 30th...thats when the clocks go forward...so if you're GMT that would be 5am on the 30th

I have one I want to use, and hopefully is fairly obscure enough that I can secure it =) But if not, I can deal with not having it, not a big deal.

I am assuming we'll be able to DL the game in the week leading to early access. If not with everyone downloading the game will be ready when normal release arrives!

I'm aware, they typically open up early EST. At least they have the last 4 betas.

Those who live at a higher elevation will have an unfair time advantage when it comes to early access. As I live below sea level I can only hope CloudStrifeTifaAerisFFRocks9999 won't already be taken.

I love your optimism, but if you think they are going to officially launch at midnight. . .. . odds are, they will have a planned maintenance just prior to launch. Last second bug fixes they try to rush in, server reset, that sort of thing.

Don't forget peeps, you're gonna have to RE Download the client if you roll less than 50 on a 1D100, and at 25+ GB, that's gonna take awhile.
