Is the game going online at midnight tonight Mar 30th? Or sometime during the day tomorrow? I assume its at midnight, and the servers will explode with people trying to log on. But im just wondering so I can be one of those people

Technically it is 7 am EDT, Not a big deal, unless they are from another country and are calculating from GMT.

Well you start playing on the 31st.... the rest of us start playing on the 30th, the game releases globally on the 4th so you get 4 days early access instead of 5 days early access.

What? The time zone differences will still exist come launch day...

That's not how time zones work, while he will be playing at midnight his time, I'll be playing at 7 am my time but we are both still playing at the same time.

Maybe I'm confused, I assumed it worked as follows.

00:00 31st March >> 00:00 1st April = 24 Hours

00:00 1st April >> 00:00 2nd April = 24 hours

00:00 2nd April >> 00:00 3rd April = 24 hours

00:00 3rd April >> 00:00 4th April = 24 hours

That's 4 days a total of a potential 96 hours play time prior to the official launch of the game at 4/4/14.

12:00 30th March >> 00:00 31st March = 12 hours

00:00 31st March >> 00:00 1st April = 24 Hours

00:00 1st April >> 00:00 2nd April = 24 hours

00:00 2nd April >> 00:00 3rd April = 24 hours
