Midwestern Brothers- OOC Thread 2

It would be big enough for a fully grown advlt male. Maybe two but a Deathclaw... I doubt it. It isn't so much the weight thow it is an issue, its their size.

Once someone goes down it, they can open the basemant door.

4th floor, new plague medical wing, got it. I'm thinking I might end up in the 3rd floor research wing, and might need Roslin to hack into a computer or two.

Yeah. A deathclaw wouldn't really fit, but once someone is down there they can open the main basemant door. Which has been blocked from the inside.

I think I'll grab Knight Roberts as my escort, if nobody minds. Else, I'll pick HR-1332 instead.

Whichever. Either one is acceptable. Hell, you can even take both if you like. Since I don't think anyone else necessarily needs an escort (although it would be wise to travel in pairs at least).

So is there anything specific you want Truax to find in the basemant Andro? I know there's the MLA soldiers, but is that it?

Edit* Just read the post detailing the basemant. Do you need to PM me any information before I start?

Also, so that everyone is clear, the New Plague data that the characters find in this hospital will show that the pre-war New Plague was not like the the current plague the Brotherhood is facing. The New Plague (as it is in lore) does not involve any transformation or mutation of the infected individual.

However, there will be similarities that characters might pick up on. Such as the infection rates being the same, epidemic patterns being similar, similar attempted methods of containment, and a similar lack of cure or effective treatment method. The early onset of the current plague also appears quite similar to the symptoms of the pre-war New Plague (until mutation that is).

Edit: Another note. Mr. SmileySmile is going to be joining the RP as a mercenary character who will be located on the third floor of the hospital. He is part of the reason for the rubble barrier blocking the doorway mentioned by ewok in his post.

Aldin_Kiris I believe you jumped very far ahead of everyone else.

I am also lost here. If I understand right. There are five floors to this hospital and a basemant. We want to get to floors 4 and 5 because that is where the info is and the dumbwaiter that goes to the basemant is on the 4th and records and such on the 5th. My character Allen and Traven are on the 4th floor and Mrsmilysmile is on the third and now Aldin's guy has made it all the way to the dumbwaiter on the 4th and is now in the basemant.....

So I am lost, I am not sure what to do now. I thought the upper floors were going to be guarded by robots and such. I have been saying that but I guess my guy is a lier?

So we are all on the fourth floor for the most part?

He's fine. I PM'd him details about his venture into the dumbwaiter.

Traven and Allen on on the fifth floor, which is administration.

Allen's character is on the third floor I believe.

Aldin went to the fourth floor, and then traveled down to the basemant.

Redfield is currently exploring the fourth floor.

HR-88 and Roslin I think are on lower levels. Although I'm not sure since I don't think it was specified where they are.

Security for the moment is deactivated. Remember what I told you via PM? At some point, someone might (read: will) trigger the security system. Thus activating the robots.

Your guy isn't a liar, the floors are defended. Just not until someone trips the system. Which has clearly happened in the past given the dead bodies of wastelanders.

Made a post for Maeror, if you need him to do something for the basically an MLA interrogation scene Aldin don't hesitate to do so.

Disturbing - Scribe Roslin - isn't going to have access to a computer until Friday so I've spoken with him via PM and, if there are no objections, will be CCing Scribe Roslin according to a scenario I have PM'd to Disturbing.

If you'd prefer, I think Disturbing would likely have no reservations about OldRPGs doing the CC in my stead, since they are both BoS...but should PM him in that regard.

Yeah he informed me of that. Well as long as he's alright with it, it shouldn't be an issue. Remember he also has Knight Roberts with him as well.

Wait, Redfield's got Roberts. Roslin's got HR-88.

Also, did Truax and Maeror take the same stairwell as Redfield and Roberts? Or did they take another set of stairs, and thus another area of the 4th floor that Redfield can't access?

Yes I know. My error. Smiley got it correct though.

I believe they took the main staircase. So I assume they might have seen Redfield and vice-versa, if you were thinking to add that in your post that is.

Ok, I actually took the emergency stairwell, not the main one. I wanted to be sure so I don't describe things that they have no idea what I'm talking about.

Also, Vault Ninja, is HR-47 talking over the comms to Redfields? Because if I'm reading it right, you are at the building entrance, and Redfield is deep in the 4th floor.

Ah. Gottcha.

The third and fourth floors will now be hit with security bots. A few sentry bots mostly, and possibly some lesser robots like protectrons. Feel free to RP fighting them.

Okay guys, since I am a bit lost after being gone for a few days, could someone tell me what floors don't have people on them?

I don't think anyone is searching the bottom two floors at the present time (correct me if I'm wrong someone).

Question, is it the general consensus to fall back to the entrance after all the security bots have been activated?

Traven is attempting to shut down the security at the moment, so it'll likely be down before everyone has made it there (that'll be my next post actually).

So to answer your question, no, you don't need to fall back. We aren't quite done with the hospital yet. Since once we move to the next location, it'll be a bit of a jump.

I thought you guys were on the 1st floor too. Let's just assume that robots are fast runners.

So, I'll meet you at the emergency stairwell on the 4th floor then? I'm thinking a sentry bot blocks our path to the stairwell, then you come out and blast it from behind.
