My pc stuffs up so much and right know i cant even play crysis 2 andd no one wonts to help me get it working.
With this statement I can say you belong on the console.
While PC games should require minimum effort to install and get running correctly and you shouldn't need to be a tech geek in order to play them you still need to know how to manage your system by yourself when it comes to installing updates and drivers, troubleshooting any hardware or software issues etc
The main benefit hardware-wise of going PC over console is the ability to update your hardware so you can play with the latest graphical technologies straight away instead of having to wait a good part of a decade for a console manufacturer to build a new console capable of these technologies. The downside is an endless amount of different ways you can put together a PC with endless combinations of parts you will run into issues with something not working quite right with something else or some software or drivers quite not gelling well with something.
So you do need some basic knowledge on how to troubleshoot problems and how to either fix or workaround, if you can't do that and have to ask somebody else to sort your problems each time, then the PC is not for you for gaming.
A console might be just for you because you won't have to fiddle with this and that, however you will lose graphical fidelity, also low framerates and resolution might make you puke after playing on a good PC, as well as the fact of using a controller and auto-aim.
