Does the quests to place MILA's end? Or are they radiant like settlers need help and so on? For now it seems like they are needed to bring a certain questline forward but they are tedious since I have to re-visit some already visited places.

Thankfully, yes, they end. Uh... 9, I think? I think.

They are not required. It's only a problem if (like many of us) you can't abide having open quests in your log.

There are 11 places you have to place a MILA. I was like you and couldn't leave quest open. I looked it up to see if they were radiant or had an ending to them.
