Milkshakes

Post » Tue Mar 17, 2015 5:55 am

So. Drinking a pistachio milkshake right now and this came to my mind. Anybody else on this forum love milkshakes? If so, any preferred flavors ya like? *I has a love for mint milkshakes the most myself*.

I make myself a milkshake from time to time..

Some Ice, Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Milk, and Chocolate Syrup into the blender... makes a really good milkshake, but I am sure its gonna make me diabetic one of these days :P

It takes a surprising amount of both milk and ice cream to make a milk shake. I used to have a blender just for that reason. I found them to be a pain in the ass to make.

There's a place that makes awesome Milkshakes. They're think. And I mean so thick that the spoon will not bulge if you insert it into the shake. I had a Oreo Milkshake and loved it.

I like to throw a bit of malt into to the blender to make a malted milkshake.

I used to make malted chocolate milkshakes with chocolate ice cream, skim milk, and carnation instant breakfast (for rationalization purposes), but I haven't had one in years. Dairy doesn't work for me, and I screwed up my stomach years ago. Still trying to figure out a way to eat even coconut milk ice cream without feeling sick, but I think it's the sugar. New favorite food: pears.

Eggnog milkshakes from McD are awesome.

Beyond that, when I was 16 I was visiting some relatives down in Georgia and on the way there my family stopped at this old-time Diner somewhere in the middle of VA, and they had a triple chocolate
milkshake(Chocolate ice-cream, Chocolate syrup, Chocolate milk), and it was so thick and delicious...I'm pretty certain I will never have another milkshake that yummy ever again in my lifetime.

I got a vintage machine when I last visited Mexico. It works very well in spite of being well loved.

I'm trying to recreate those Shamrock Shakes that McDonalds starts selling this time of year. Otherwise I stick to nutty or chocolatey milkshakes. Sometimes fancy vanillas.

I love milkshakes - especially if they come from Carls Jr.

Mmmm!

Did you know that, in at least parts of New England, a milk shake has no ice cream in it. With ice cream it's a frappe (at least it was when I was a kid).

I like chocolate, strawberry, and mint but no one really makes good ones where I live. Once a year I'll get a mint one at Mcdeez but always regret it. I would have to travel far if I wanted a good one.

And to the OP pistachio sounds awesome!

Yeah that's quite the same here. Milkshake is just what we call any kind of flavoured milk.

All the milkshakes. All of them. But I really love pure vanilla and mint chocolate.

Umm. I actually don't like them -that- much. I don't know why. Probably because of the creamy nature, it just feels thick and unpleasant, even if it's really delicious. Hmm. Was able to enjoy a McKennedy (spelling?) product, chocolate milkshake. Was alright. Wouldn't buy one for 0.90€ though, not worth it. Idk. Mixed feelings here.

My absolute favourite is pineapple gelato milkshake from Joe Delucci's in the Bullring in Birmingham (UK). I have never had anything quite so good!

Whatever you're having, my milkshake is better than yours. Damn right.

Anyway, I don't know where to get one in Croatia except in McDonalds, but those are freakin tasty. I love to make my own fruit shakes, but they are very.... milky and fruity. XD Not anything like ice-creamy ones in McDonalds.

Eggnog milkshakes, so far, are the only kind of milkshakes I hate. (Out of 68 flavors I've had).
