Definition: Those who came of age around the turn of the Millenium, 2000 AD. Which means those who were born in the mid-80s.
I would bet that most of us here are Millenial, simply due to the nature of the board. However, I also know that many of you are of older generations, and your views on the matter would be interesting to hear, as well. There's been a great deal of discussion about Millenials in the media in recent years. I've seen news spots talking about this generation, I've read magazine articles, even a cover article in Time. We have been called lazy and disrespectful, we've been called smart workers. I read an article in the Times today that, while not specifically targeting Millenials in so many words, discussed a so-called "Death of advlthood" and described the current generation as a bunch of man-children, perpetually hung up on the cusp of advlthood but never taking that step, eternally adolescent.
What are some of your thoughts on the matter? How do we stack up compared to past generations? What to you think defines us as a generation? Are we everything they call us and more?
