After they entered the Vault, they were surprised to see Susie closing the door behind them.
"Now then, don't make any sudden moves." She pulled out her assault rifle.
Amata and Steven were about to get out their guns, when they saw them. At least 20 seperate raiders revealed themselves from stealth boy.
"About time. We've been looking for you two goody-two shoes for years. Guess we got you where we want you."
"Hold on." Steven began, stunned. "You're not Susie. Who are you?"
She laughed. "Nope, i'm not. A shame I had to kill old Pinkerton after he gave me the facelift. Oh well."
"What the hell is going on?"
"I'm talking here kid, not you. The name's Mary, but that's not important. What's important is that you're gonna help us."
"Yeah? Or what?"
She laughed again. "Or...we blow up this Vault. All your old 'friends' are bound and gagged safe and sound in the reactor level. If you want to save them, you'll help us."
Amata and Steven looked at each other. What were they going to do? They may not exactly have been welcome in Vault 101, but it was still where they grew up.
Finally, Amata took a deep sigh, and said to the raider, "what do you want us to do?"
The raider fetched a backpack she had kept at the entrance of the Vault. She opened it, and inside were various explosives.
"I want you two to rig these around Rivet City. Then, meet us over at Project Purity, and watch the fireworks. Once we got that good for nothin' city off the map, you and your old Vault 'friends' will be free to go. Deal?"
They were dumbstruck. Blow up Rivet City? How could they? It was a city full of perfectly innocent people, who didn't deserve to die. But on the other hand, if they didn't, Vault 101 would be destroyed.
Steven looked the raider dead in the eye. "We'll do it."
