What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is a creative sandbox game centered around exploration and survival; exploring and gathering resources allows you to protect yourself against a variety of beasties that hunt you down during the night. The creative sandbox elements of the game fuel your want to survive and gather, which in turn allow you to build many wonderful creations. Basic fluid physics also provide interesting means of creating basic machines. The multiplayer is very similar to the single-player, just with more people. Right now neither enemies nor damage function, however an update fixing this will be arriving shortly.

Of course, with dynmap everyone can easily find your (surface) living place. :D

Well, you obviously need your own version of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partial_Nuclear_Test_Ban_Treaty. :)

Nope, but I'm sure many can't wait for you to return as well. :drag:

Edit: Also, Terpy. Wool doesn't grow back in 1.0, only in 1.1.

I see the only way for me to even get the configs is to use their launcher...

In the meantime, the 1.2 maps will be run with a different world format. Biome data is included, rather than referenced from the map seed.

Zombie sieges, too. Combine this with them breaking down doors in hardmode...

[censored] finally. At least now custom server-side terrain generators will be able to provide proper weather and biome colouring for the clients.

Zombies should have a chance to randomly be wearing armor when you find them, from leather all the way to diamond, maybe even chainmail. (this could be the legit way to get chainmail on survival)

They get the same Damage Resistance you get when wearing armor, and you get to keep their (heavily deteriorated) armor.

They could spawn with full suits or just pieces, with tunics/body armor always equipped if they spawn with armor, a small Chance to Also have pants an even smaller chance to have a hat/helmet and rarely a full suit (boots)

I should figure out how to make this mod, maybe even make it work with armor mods add (imagine a Quantum Suit zombie)

Question tying with Mirglofs: If it (Mo' Creatures) isn't optional, please tell me it's more passive/neutral mobs than hostile mobs. I just don't enjoy fighting the mobs we have now, I just like to build things, not spend my time fighting mobs is all.

Edit: Comrade, I think anything above 1% for diamond is ridiculous. And even then they should spawn with ONLY a chestplate. I hope the said armour wouldnt clash with my skeletons though, they have ragtag armour textures in my pack, wouldnt look right seeing a roman helmet then a diamond chestpiece.

And suffering from the lag I have been lately I wish this is completely optional :cold:

What do I need to do now to get on the server? I just have spout and minecraft 1.0 right now. Do I need more stuff now? And is there a new server?

Well, I'm of the suspicion that the lag in your area is specifically because of Elrond's disco, but I won't touch his building until he has had his say, as that wouldnt be proper of me to just tear his home down without his permission.

Zombies drop iron ingots, swords, shovels, and helmets. Survival Test zombies used to have a helmet, so I think it might be a reference to that.

As far as other rare mob drops go, skeletons drop their bows and zombie pigmen drop gold ingots and their gold swords.

So 30% to spawn with leather tunic, 10% to spawn with iron chestplate and 1% to spawn with diamond with a 59% percent chance to spawn unarmored?
I think that then they could do an aditional check where they have a 25% chance to also spawn with pants.

I mean with the zombie sieges on hard, imagine looking out of your window to see a hoard of zombies approaching your village, some of them wearing ruined armor, you see a single one in the middle wearing a suit of diamond armor.

Maybe even give them a chance to spawn with a sword or axe.

Time to learn the art of modding, hopefully i can make it Bukkit compatible (can I do this with a mid like this?) so we can use it on the server.

Well, I suppose it's testing time then. You or Papa come on the server and test out the area now if you want, performance might be better.

As long as the mods are server side, I don't mind much. I just don't enjoy downloading things because I'm not good with PC mods still.

I thought you were meant to be Mr House, be dominating and tyrannical!
I'll just move house, that place can be used as a conference meeting place or something of those lines if the issue isn't solved.

I don't want to, I'll cry and rage. Plus I'm in work till 4 and won't be on till 6ish but he is right, the disco was the source of a chuck of my lack but there was something else in the area around the disco and my house, unless the wiring is doing it without being actually actived.

Heh, the cause was the wiring from what Justin experienced. I'll see what I can do.

Edit: Did I say wiring? I meant the sequencers.

No problem, as long as I can move around my house at at least 10+ FPS it's all good because 0-3 is sickening
