it is like almost guarantee to end up hurting yourself. but from one of the terminal they seem to be able to solve that it should be able to shoot far enough :S it will be better if mini nuke can shoot as far as my missile launcher

I am big heavy weapons fan and use the Fatman a good bit. If fires in an arc so you just cant use your aim point and shoot straight. You have to estimate and aim higher to give it arc and distance. Its kind of like an indirect fire weapon (mortars, artillery and naval gunfire) in that it lobs shells. Use it that way and you will have enough distance to where it will not hurt you. I have yet to be hurt by a mini nuke of my own.

The thing to understand is that the Missile is designed differently from a Mini Nuke. The missile is only part payload; the rest of it is an engine used to propel it towards a target. The mini nuke, on the other hand, is all payload; it has no engine. The Fat Man itself is really little more than a catapult, so without some sort of powered delivery system, the mini nuke isn't going to go very far. Because of this, you have to aim above your target to get more distance, or the mini nuke will fall right next to you and damage or kill you.
