I noticed on the short patch notes there is no fix for the Thieves Guild bug that prevents me from completing the story of the guild and becoming leader. This is unfortunate, basically can't play my level 35 character. PS3 bug was obviously the main focus. I don't want to wait another month to keep playing him.

I had no problem completing on the PC version. Perhaps it's an Xbox version issue? Sorry to hear that. Hope the work it out for you soon.

I never started the Thieves Guild quest yet, but can't you just do something else until a fix comes out. I wouldn't let that stop me from playing.

I play on the 360 and PC, and I haven't had that issue so, maybe a bug.

its no bug but im guessing he sold the armor they give you at the beginning of the thieves guild..and without it you cant complete the questline

Always better to post bug reports in the specific forums and look for a solution, rather than review the game based on an isolated experience.

Yes its a known issue for the Dampened Spirits quest. I've been playing my other character since then and am having fun.

Not even close, friend. Still wear it. Google Dampened Spirits bug. Bethesda has recognized it as a bug and will address it, unfortunately did not have time this patch.
