I'm just really confused right now- I've killed three dragons since starting the Dragonborn questline, and each time Miraak absorbs the soul. Part of the questline involves using a new shout on a wind stone. But I can't unlock the shout because I don't have any souls. What do I do now?

Go around checking all the word walls on the surface, as almost every one has a dragon on it.

Also, if you haven't already collected it, if you return to the Tomb of Jurgen Windcaller, you can get one (and if you tap the use key/button fast enough, two) freebies.

yeah I needed a soul to spend in the shout needed to continue the MQ for Dragonborn. Miraak kept showing up and stealing mine. I ended up going back to Skyrim and using the Jurgen Windcaller trick and getting one. Miraak has less of a tendency to steal your dragon souls in Skyrim, but he still shows up.

I'd never heard of that tomb of Jurgen Windcaller thing. A year and a half, and I'm still learning new tricks.
