Is there any hope to this ever being patched? Has it been patched already?

I have literally tried everything to try and work around this glitch... it's just disappointing to lose 300 plus hour you know? (I can't leave the summit unless Miraak is defeated and my save and autosaves are on the summit)

PS- Could I delete Dragonborn DLC and my character would end up at Windhelm Docks or something? How would I go about deleting the DLC completely off of my system?

I wouldn't recommend deleting DLC like that, it could potentially cause more probems.

And no, Bethesda is likely done with Skyrim and they also don't patch DLC.

He steals every soul back on the mainland of Skyrim? You could try saving right before heading to a dragon word wall and then if he steals the soul, reload and try again. I did that for my 3rd soul that I needed and it took 2 annoying reloads before I finally ate that delicious soul...a dragon soul was never so satisfying as that one

I'm not sure, but I think the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch fixes this, although I don't know if it works on a save that's already afflicted.
