Misc perk idea

Post » Sun Mar 17, 2013 5:39 am

there are some perks that are given from quests like Prowlers profit and some others.
well i was thinking, i would like a quest were at the end you had a choice out of 5 and cannot change your mind after picking it.

the perks could be
Explorer- reveals all locations on the map.
warrior- melee attacks are 25% stronger.
marksman- ranged attacks are 25% stronger.
Mage- all spells are 25% more effective and cost 10% less Magika.
Guardian- when health is below 10% there is a chance of a spectral copy of you (character) to aid you.

Do you like this idea.

would this be a good quest reward.

Suggest your own 5.

thanks for reading. :)

The quest would have to be really difficult to be able to have those rewards.

The Black Books to that to an extent.

Not just really difficult, almost impossibly difficult. I almost think you would have to fight 60 Draugr Deathlord's with Ebony Arrows that have amazing accuracy that are all riding Ancient Dragons. I mean, all locations? 25% more? They would have to be toned down in my opinion.

Agreed. That's what I meant though, near impossible quests.

I think that would be a bit much. The black books do that to an extent and what op is suggesting wouldn't be that overpowered. Maybe tone it down a little.

Yeah, I was semi messing around. I just wanted people to picture trying to fight that without any god weapons. So ridiculous. Yeah, I agree that if the rewards were toned down just a little, and I'm not a fan of the explorer perk. So take that all in and you got yourself a quest. I do think it should be difficult though.
