Anyone know how to get this started? It doesn't give me any dialogue relating to a quest from him.

I am not far in the main story, only just joined the Imperials and need to get the Jagged Crown.

I did go through every dialogue option with everyone in the Blue Palace.

So what do I have to do?

Does anyone know what the ID for the quest is so I can at least use 'SetStage'?

From what I have read this is the quest that allows you to buy a house in Solitude.

So can SOMEONE please respond who knows how to get this one working?

or even a console command to repair it

The quest starts by entering the Blue Palace and seeing a man talking to Falk Firebeard. He might not be there the first time, so repeat visits to the palace might be necessary. However, if you're too impatient to try that or if that just doesn't work, you should be able to start the quest by entering into the command console "setstage MS06Start 5" At least, that's what UESP is currently saying. The "5" might actually need to be 10 or something. I'd say go in increments of 5 until the quest stats.

The 5 as the value worked. I do remember seeing that bit when I first went in there though but once the dialogue was done this time it checked off "Visit Court of Solitude".

When I was searching on what to do for this before I found "setstage MS06Start 0" but that didn't work, but now I see why.
