Title says it all. What are, in your opinion, some great things that could have made Skyrim a wee bit cooler(not that it needs it) Mine;

Ancient Nord mace that looks like Mjolnir (Thors hammer)

Upgrade able Silver weapons (so nice, yet so useless)

Something to do with Jygalag ( seriously bummed by his absence)

Non gender specific gear ( ancient nord helmet for females is way cooler than the male model imo)

items that have actual use( paper, charcoal and a soul gem could be used to make scrolls along with other stuff, a complete set of embalming tools could be used to turn humanoid enemy's into dead thralls)

Heart stone weapons (So excited when I saw ash spawn weapons, never ending tears to find them unattainable, seriously heart stones used like deadra hearts could make some cool weapons and armor)

Staves as waking sticks

Shrine/Blessing of Sithis ( because the void is you)

Mammoth and Horker tusks being used to make Ivory weapons giving them an actual use.
