Missed opportunity with speech

I think they could have utilized speech craft a bit more in the game. Take thieves guild for example, instead of actually stealing via pickpocketing and sneaking you could swindle a person like a shady used car salesman. Maybe a charisma perk chain where people flock to you immediately recognize your greatness.

yeah i was hoping they went with a more falloutish approach with speech power and gave us ways to change peoples minds and whatnot in quests to dramatically change what you had to do/shorten your work
sadly speechcraft pretty much just deals in price altering, with a handful of little bribe options when first entering the major cities

It already is like that. Heh.
A Night to Remember being a great example for it.
Entering the College of Winterhold without casting spells or Shouting.
