Several times now I get to a point in the game with a well developed character of many hours game play, that missiles such as arrows, javelins, darts etc. will crash the game when I try launching them.

Sometimes if I go way back to an older save it will work again, or if I start a fresh game there is no issue.

Does anyone have experience with this problem, what causes it and how to fix it?
