Missing Crafting Materials

This is a 2 part topic. First I should mention I'm on console so I can't console command. I'm in the process of moving my main settlement at Sanctuary Hills to Spectacle Island. I went into craft mode and stored a bunch of steel walls, beds, and floors to move to the new place. I fast travel over to Spectacle Island, go into craft mode, and all the stored stuff is gone and I have to rebuild everything from scratch. Anyone else run into this or know a solution?

Second part. Spectacle Island is to the southeast part of the map. Southeast of The Castle and northeast of Warwick Homestead. It's a big island in the middle of the water. If you go to the island watch out it is infested with all kinds of mirelurks. There is a bunch of shipping crates and if you climb to the top at the one end there's a bunch of safes you can pick. In the back of the island there is a big green half sunk boat. On the top level there is a luck bobblehead. On the lower level there is a generator flip the switch. Once you flip the switch a mirelurk queen will spawn along with a legendary mirelurk king or a legendary albino mirelurk hunter. Fight them off and make your way to the middle of the island. There you will find a small dome-like metal shack. Go in and flip the breaker switch. It will let out a loud sounding pulse that drives away any remaining mirelurks on the island. Once you have done this you have a new settlement and a whole island to build on. Hope this helps some people.

First part: storing items stores them at that specific workstation. Unless you have the supply caravans from the Local Leader perk the only way to share that stuff between settlements is to manually carry it.

Second part: neat. I haven't been there yet, so that's good to know.

Oh I thought I could just take it with and fast travel. Thanks I'll remember next time.

The 2nd part of your "question" needs to be in the spoilers section....not cool.

Yeah because the obviously huge island on the map that has no connection to a mission or storyline what so ever is a "spoiler". I also said 2 part topic, not 2 part "question".

No but the specific stuff about it like the Mirelurk Queen/King and the siren that warns off other Mirelurks is. Spoilers aren't just about storylines or questlines, they're also about stuff that would be a surprise (pleasant or otherwise) if you didn't know about them.

I thought about saying something myself but one of the mods had already tagged it to be moved to the spoiler section by then, so it didn't matter much.
