i let my little guy play in sanctuary just to walk around and now i cant seem to find my dog? he said he sent him home? i checked all of santuary still no find

Did you check all the doughouses? There are a few in some backyards etc. He is usually there. A tip would be to remove all, but one. And then place it somewhere you remember. Could be that it is a bug and he is simply gone though.

Sent both Dogmeat and Valentine to sanctuary. Nowhere to be found

I lost Dogmeat when I did a main mission involving him using scent.

I guess he is still at the compount where I swapped him for Valentine, but I haven't checked. I have traveled with Piper since that mission.

got it if u lose ur dog u will find him where u first get him truck stop

Sometimes he is really hard to see in the dog houses. Maybe check them again.
