Missing my downloads!

:brokencomputer:
Alright, so I'm befuddled...

I've downloaded some mods as zips and saved them in my Oblivion folder. However, when I look for them via windows explorer, I can't find them in the approriate folder. A search of the folder for the title or .zip show nothing as well. They have not been unpacked.

However, when I go to redownload and select the same folder, the files show up as already existing and are visible.

How can I make these files visible so I can work with them?

Using Windows 7

Thanks,
Rumbly

what browser you using?

If Firefox, right-click the download in the download manager and you'll have options to open the file and open the file location.

IE8

What I'm getting from this is when the save/run dialogue pops up during a download, I might be able to open the already downloaded files via what you've suggested?

*runs off to try*

edit: tried, but I guess I don't have the right .zip extractor. Dl'd winzip, redownloading files to the desktop, and they are now appearing there. Still don't know what was really wrong, but this seems to be a solution.

Cheers
