I have same problem with the bonus exp for C3 as I had it in C2. I don't get it.
How do I get the bonus exp?

Go to the EA support website and get onto a chat session with a support adviser, if they don't do anything good then get on another chat with another one after that, the same happened to me, the first one gave me some instructions that didn't work and then basically said that was what should work and ended the chat, the next chat adviser I spoke to just simply applied the Hunter Edition content to my account and it worked fine, basically there is a 50% chance someone will be helpful.
