Missing Mesh?

Hello all,

Just did a clean install of oblivion, and installed FCOM as per the first time users guide, and it's looking like I may have missed something, because there is a missing mesh even before I get out of the sewers. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this issue? The missing mesh seems to be around regular goblins, so I don't know if that has anything to due with it or not.


Also, it seems like there are now septims that are just laying around, or that gems, have a little red shape that floats around it, is this normal?

P.S. now as soon as I try to leave the sewers the game CTD's any thoughts?

Seems your MMM install was not correct. Do you use NiceOne's OMOD installers for FCOM? See here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24647

Problems you indicate are not "Normal", so most probably a screwed up install... My strategy to install FCOM is to copy my entire Oblivion Clean Install Data folder (with patches installed) and back it up elsewhere - if I screw up something, I can just replace the Data folder with my backup .

Also, make sure you have BOSSed you load order and created the Bashed Patch.

My suggestion would be to start from scratch (uninstall Oblivion), and reinstall Oblivion and then install FCOM - follow every step exactly as listed in the guide. You are still in a new game, so not much lost, and it will help you enjoy a crash-free game later as well, rather than having to troubleshoot everyday... a better cleaner start is therefore recommended.

Read all the steps for FCOM installation from the guide I linked. ALso, put aside one day (to download all components and install them after REDING The readme's and guides). If you hurry and take shortcuts, it is going to come back and bite you later...

Also, use NiceOne's OMODs wherever (over manual installs) - unless you do BAIN installs (but those are for advanced users).

ALso, make sure you are selecting the correct options when creating the bashed patch - the guide has a list there.

If your using newest version of MMM have you renamed the BSA?.

Take a peel in the FCOM Thread.That might help. :)

Skip that. FCOM_Convergence.esp does its job in FCOM.

As for your issue, make sure you have the MMM.bsa and that it is renamed FCOM_Convergence.bsa. If that's not it, double check your OOO install, i.e. check that you have 1.33 Complete installed and not just a patch.
