I downloaded the Better Cities mod, and all over the world there are giant yellow "WTF? I'm a Missing Mesh!" alerts. I assume it just means I installed something incorrectly, or I'm missing a necessary component.

First, you should install and use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516, which will help sort your load order. It's a wonderful tool.

Second, Better Cities does issue warnings that it is a mod for advanced users. I would suggest spending some more time with the readme. You are right - it's probably an installation problem.

you need to install all of the primary better cities files, that includes the "update" file... I recommend putting them into an OMOD.
