So, I stopped playing New Vegas because my ED-E had disappeared from the face of the earth. I thought I'd way for a patch to fix the problem.

I loaded up the game for the first time in months and still no ED-E. His name doesn't appear any where on the map and I have tried waiting the 7-game days.

Is there a solution to this?

I somehow managed to play quite a bit before noticing he was gone. So, I will have to restore a very old game.

Nevermind. I just discovered the "Dismiss Companion Terminal" in the Lucky 38.

I dismissed my companions and it said ED-E returned to Primm. I am trying to pick him back up but he is not in the "Nash Residence" / "Mojave Express."

It svcks because I probably lost a bunch of items stored in him and I can't complete ED-E's quests... however, at least I can now continue the game simply because an invisible ED-E was keeping me from some quests.
