Missing shadows in Grand Central Station

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:28 pm

I am missing a lot of shadows on the Grand Central Station level. I am using all ingame Very High settings, with the only tweaks to my system.cfg being g_skipintro 1 and cl_fov 75. My problem is the EXACT same as this thread over at inCrysis, except I have not been able to fix it.

Here is a screenshot.

I am using a GTX 460 with 270.61 drivers.

Bump. I'd like to get this fixed. I just reverted to my original non-modded system.cfg and I also updated my drivers to the 275.33 Beta's. I have tried putting the shadows setting on Extreme and they still do not appear.

Anyone have any answers for this?

Another bump. For some reason, ALL SELF-SHADOWING ON THIS LEVEL HAS DECIDED TO COMPLETELY DISABLE ITSELF. I HAVE TRIED 3 DIFFERENT SETS OF DRIVERS AND HAVE REMOVED ALL CUSTOM CONFIGS TO NO AVAIL!!!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. If this does not fix it, then I don't know what will. This is seriously pissing me off. Not having shadows in a game SERIOUSLY detracts from the experience, ESPECIALLY in a game like Crysis 2.

Please help.

Pretty sure it's graphics drivers but the new 275.33 has the motion blur bug.

I have tried 266.58, 270.61, and 275.27 Beta and this still occurs. As for the motion blur bug, isnt that only if you disable it? (r_motionblur = 0)
