I'm missing something : Fallout: New Vegas

People talk of the Great Divide with Ulysses and The Courier. It was mentioned at the end of Dead Money, but have I really done a few playthroughs and missed what the Great Divide is??? Please explain what it is if we know, or if it's just a future DLC plot.

To be honest with you, I have had my doubts about Divide=Grand Canyon, it seems too obvious, but what else is there???

The moment you step into the DLC in question, you'll see everything she brought to life in one huge vista shot, and to this day, I feel it's one of the most amazing shots I've seen in a Fallout title to date.

This is from here http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Ausir/Layoffs_at_Obsidian . Maybe the Grand Canyon is "vista" this sentence alludes to.

Didn't laugh. The legion svcks. You're going to have to learn that sooner or later. I don't like the grand canyon. I'd fill it with cement. Then put a polluting factory on it. Then Caesar and his legion can shove it up his ass.

Getting back on point, I have an idea about the great divide (It may be a bit far-fetched)

Maybe the great divide is the great planes/ceasar's territory?

It's probably not, but I don't think that has been debated yet.

most likely a location though
