ED-E went missing while traveling. I looked around and cant find him; does not even shows in the map (my other follower does). I need help, this is interfering with some quests.

Here's another thread with the same problems, and a wide variety of solutions for you. Try to find one that works for you there. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1135645-ed-e-mysterious-disappearance/page__p__16615826__fromsearch__1#entry16615826

Edit: Nevermind, I'm [censored]. I didn't notice it was for the Xbox version.

Ha! I wish we had console commands. Unreal Tournament, I think Quake Arena also, for the Sega Dreamcast had that option so why cant we? Thanks for trying to help. Now, you were not trying to add acid to the injury, eh?

Nah, I just saw your post in the most recent posts in the Elder Scrolls forums. Given that I had a similar issue in the past, and had already written a post with the solution I figured I'd link you to it. I noticed too late it was wrong platform though. :sadvaultboy:

Same issue here. I think I lost him around when I went to the BoS safehouse. That's kind of a guess on my part as it happened several days ago and I may not have noticed him missing at first, and he certainly isn't there now. Doesn't show up on my map and the game was on hardcoe mode for a loooong time after he went missing but he apparently never managed to get himself killed, so he's still "my companion." I know this because when I tried to hire Rex it says I still have a robotic companion. Additionally, people make comments about ED-E as if he's following me. Tried the Vault 22 elevator trick, tried waiting 3 days and checking Primm, etc., nothing works. I think you just have to give him up as a lost cause basically.

Thankfully, even though he's still "following" you, he will *not* prevent you from entering places like the Lucky 38 and Caesar's tent since he isn't physically near you. Other followers who are following you and physically close by will prevent you, but lost ED-E won't. This is very good, for obvious reasons.

Frankly, that little bastard is more trouble than he's worth.

I was told by tech support that ED-E has mostly likely glitched right out of the game. The only way i found to remove him as a companion cost money. I, like a svcker considering the problems i've had with this game, bought Dead Money. When you start this quest ED-E automatically returns to Primm, he's not actually back there or anything but it freed me up to get Rex and do his quest. It wasn't really worth bothering with to be honest though.

Then I am waiting for Obsidian/Bethesda/ZeniMax to provide me with a free redeemable code for Dead Money to solve my problem. Also, as much as I love The Elder Scrolls, I will wait two weeks after Skyrim releases to see how things are going before I commit. This applies to most of the games I buy from now on; I should have learned my lesson after Far Cry 2 and Dragon Age Origins.

May 5th, the patch to the patch was released and still no ED-E
