Missing textures in Silt Strider Armor mod?

Post » Tue Sep 03, 2013 9:01 pm

Hey guys, I have installed the Silt Strider Armor Mod http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/21822//?

However, when I traveled to the Urshilaku Camp I got errors because I seem to miss textures. Most of the armor (Cuirass, Greaves, the upper parts of the boots and the arms of the Pauldrons appear white. Since I know how to install mods and I double checked, I dont think that I screwed up the installation. My guess is that this is an issue with body parts. I have MGSO installed.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks!

Hmm, I've never had any other reports of this issue; and many people seem to be using the mod just fine. But with that said, I'm not very good at supporting my mods on Nexus, so I checked the archive size compared to the PES archive. They are the same size, so I don't think it's an issue of missing textures.

Are you using tiebrakre's Better Bodies conversion of my armor?

I have used this very mod before on a different setup. Worked all fine then. I used the original version first, got the problems, tried it with darknuts textures, got the same errors, I now used the BB version by tiebrake, but it is still all white.

I know you say you're sure you've installed it correctly, but it really sounds like an installation issue... are you sure you're not running a different Morrowind installation, if you have multiple? And have you triple checked the directories you installed to?

Nope... I have checked more than a few times and only have one MW install.

Too bad, I really really like your mod!

Ill inform you, when I find a solution!

Thank you!

I'm sorry about the issue. :( If I come up with any other suggestions, I'll mention them here; but I'm stumped at the moment.
