Missing walls in seemingly random areas of the game

Post » Sun Aug 31, 2014 1:04 am

I have been playing for awhile now and I just can't take it anymore. Like the title states, there are missing walls in random locations around the game. One location is in the first cave you enter for the Dawngaurd DLC and the others that I have seen are at the Bee and Barb, and the inn at Whiterun.

I can barley navigate the Bee and Barb because of all the missing walls that lead to the bottom of the map and the inn within Whiterun also has missing walls that don't allow me to get into some areas. Also I have 88 mods according to the nexus mod manager and one of them could obviously be the reason for the glitch. Any help would be appreciated.

First off what is your mod list?

Secondly have you been messing around inside your Skyrim ini folder? I know when I installed an enb I also had missing walls and shadows... I went into the ini folder and made changes as suggested by a friend who helped me install the enb. Problem solved. For me anyway. But it sounds like you might have a similar issue.

Actually I went and dug up the instructions. While I did make changes to the ini stuff. THIS was what solved my issue.

When I turned those off the issue went away. The ini settings were to enhance the enb.

I actually went into my Skyrim settings and disabled all Anti Aliasing and Anistropic Filtering when I first installed the ENB Preset. Do you have to disable it in the ini or something?

These are the other changes in the ini that was recommended.

I also use enhanced lights and fx. And I made some other ini changes as recommended with the grim and somber enb. But the AA and the AF being turned off solved my problem.

Does your character vanish when stepping into area that should have a shadow? Do you have any pics of the issue you can upload on your steam account and post?

Yes I have pictures that I can upload of the issue but they wouldn't let me link to them. My steam name is Tinker My Bells if you want to see the screenshots of the glitch that I'm having.

You need 10 posts before you can link them.
