Misterious bi-podded sniper rifle?

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 6:15 am

Hi there dwellers! So, I think many of you saw unusual bi-poded sniper rifle during one of the loading screens (unfortunately, I cant post links to screenshot). So, does anyone know is it possible (and if yes, then how) to get that rifle in the game?

If you could get the VDSG reference number it could be checked?

Its just the hunting rifle, one of the mods alters the body of the rifle to look like that.

I've maxxed out modding skills, and no bipods available for anything, it could potentially be an aesthetic bug, like in the loading screen you quite often see a gunner in full combat armour which covers his entire body more or less, but when you equip full combat armour it barely covers you at all.

No, what you see the gunner wearing on the loading screen is a high level version of the combat armour, most likely heavy combat armour, while I assume you still use regular combat armour.

Ah, I didn't realize different variants added more of the armour, awesome.

Yup there are 3 tiers and each improvement adds 4 more points to DT

I believe the bipod was removed

Anything I'm using is pretty much only mid-tier probably, but legendary. Haven't come across any heavy legendary gear I guess.

I saw a 9mm pistol with a silencer in one loading screen. Has anyone found it? All my Google searches are just pointing to New Vegas's 9mm pistol.

Pretty shure, you're talking about the "Deliverer" - it's an unique 10mm pistol...

To topic; Yeah, I've been wondering the same about the rifle. Looks just like a standart Hunting Rifle, modded with the kinda greenish, synthetic body (or stock if you will), just with an aditional bipod. It's not a mod of any kind, i've seen in the game. Maybe it's an unique too...

Its a one of a kind legendary 10mm pistol you get as a faction quest reward, can't get the same stopping power as a vanilla 10mm, but its free supressor and special bonuses makes it valuable.

Unless I messed up somewhere it actually does more damage than the vanilla 10mm. I think I've gotten it up to something like 42 or 45 whereas the 10mil could only get up to like 37.

you get that from the

Spoiler
railroad
questline, and it's 10mm but look like the fallout nv 9mm. You can also mod a silencer on to any weapon by crafting.

The NV 9mm was a Browning Hi-Power, the pistol on the loading screen looks more like a Walther PP or PPK.

U r talking about Deliverer-Rairoad faction quest reward. Its looks like Walther PPK, as mantioned above, or (I think the most) russian's Makarov pistol

And bump for subject question about bipodded rifle)

This. The Deliverer does more damage per shot than any other weapon using the 10mm ammo type. The drawback is that the Deliverer doesn't have as many customization options; you can't turn it into a full-auto weapon like you can the regular 10mm, for example. It's still an excellent weapon, though.

I've got full gun nut and haven't seen any mods for the bipod on any of the rifles, including the hunting rifle.
