== DESCRIPTION ==
Use this patch if you use MOBS (Medieval Oblivion Balance System) mod. Otherwise weapons from patched mods may seem different than vanilla ones.
This patch makes numerous weapons from numerous mods to have stats similar to those from MOBS. MOBS made vanilla weapon stats more realistic, making lighter materials faster, but less powerful than the heavier ones and decreasing the unrealistic weapon range. This patch tries to make similar things for mods that I use. I tried to be faithful to MOBS "feel" by attempting to maintain balance, so for example the weapons shouldn't be better than daedric. As a base I took from the mod a weapon model name, weapon name, and stats in comparison to http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Weapons to see what the mod author could have had in mind. I then looked into MOBS spreadsheet for an exact stat or approximation. I had to make some arbitrary decisions as you might have guessed. Feel free to change it for yourself in TES4Edit - it's very easy. Hope you enjoy it.
Reason for this patch is simple - I don't need to modify each mod directly and do it again and again every time a mod is updated.
== USAGE ==
Load late in load order, say yes when Bash wants to deactivate it during the rebuild of Bashed Patch. Tags used: {{BASH:Deactivate,Filter,NoMerge,Stats}}
This is a filter patch to be used with Wrye Bash. You could probably use it without Bash, if you either use all of the mods that I patched (unlikely), or... if you use Wrye Bash just to remove missing Master Files from the File Header (the mods that you don't use) - it's in the Masters menu on the right. Otherwise BAD THINGS might happen. Probably the game or savegame won't start (missing masters error). But what's the point of having Wrye Bash and not using a bashed patch with its magic?
If you want to add any mod that you use to this compilation, do it like this:
- use Wrye Bash to create Dummy Masters: in Mods tab right click on Mobsification of mods.esp, choose File > Create Dummy Masters
- load mod that you want to mobsify and Mobsification of mods.esp in TES4Edit, select weapons (holding Shift while clicking first and last weapon will check them all obviously), right-click those that you want to mobsify, select Copy as override into, then choose Mobsification of mods.esp
- you're almost done, now change stats of your newly copied weapons to MOBS-like according to MOBS spreadsheet form http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/28537/? and exit with plugin save, right click on Mobsification of mods.esp, choose File > Remove Dummy Masters, or remove them by hand, then uncheck bashed patch and right-click it, choose rebuild bashed patch (C-bash) as you always do.
