Mod causing graphical glitch

I have installed a bunch of mods to what was a previously perfectly working vanilla copy of Oblivion with the latest patch applied. For some reason now whenever I press F to draw my weapon the animation plays twice. The PCs hand reaches for his sword and comes back empty then reaches for his sword again and actually draws it the second time. The same happens in reverse when putting the weapon away, the sword is sheathed and then the empty hand repeats the motion. All the mods were installed at the same time so I can't narrow down when the problem started. They were then run through BOSS to sort the load order. Its a shop bought copy rather than the Steam one, just incase that makes a difference, and I don't have SI installed. My BOSSlog file looks like this:

I don't know what's causing that, but your load order is a mess. Read the instructions that BOSS gives you, for example you have both 150% DR and 250% DR and it says use ONLY one. You should also get Wrye Bash, you need Bashed Patch for that setup. Update Streamline, even BOSS says so. You're lucky you don't get insta CTD with current setup

I have installed Wrye Bash and the bash tag suggestions have been applied. The 150% and 250% mods are not set as active so don't actually load when I load Oblivion. I will update streamline and remove any files that are not enabled in OBMM and see what happens.

Post your updated load order via Wrye Bash instead: rightclick fileheader > list mods > paste into post.

Tags may have been applied but you're still missing bashed patch to actually utilize them. You should also check DR6 thread as it has lots of issues currently and your may be one of them.

And chewu, when you mention missing the bash patch is that what I now have at the bottom of my load order? I right clicked it in WB and chose to rebuild it.

I think this means you need to put SM_DeadlyReflex after DeadlyReflex 6 - Combat Moves
Also when rebuilding patch, click all Import boxes which have mods tagged with them.
If problem still persists, try disabling DR as it seems to be only mod which affects animations.

I'd guess it's an issue with DR6. Noticed that the SM patch wants the DR6 ESP above it for example. So I'd double check the install of it plus the load order (I.e. update the masterlist for BOSS). Not using DR6 myself so not much help but it's a rather complex setup.

The game wouldn't even load with the bash patch enabled, it crashed to the desktop while loading my save game. I disabled DR6 and sure enough the doubled up animation problem disapeared. I have now uninstalled DR6 and rebuilt the bash patch making sure nothing to do with Deadly Reflex was selected. Everything now seems to work fine. I thankfully made a clean save just before installing the mods which i am now using and hope that means nothing to do with DR6 is left in the game.

Properly configuring your Deadly Reflex 6 keys in the INI would have resolved your issue. The default dodge key is F, which is also your default sheath weapon key. I'm assuming SkyCaptain set this as default since that's what he prefers to play with. However it causes the issue you describe, I've witnessed it first hand in the many hours of testing I've put in for DR6. Although now I have DR6 working 100% so the hours of troubleshooting were worth it. Anyway, change one or the other, flip or sheath key, and the double animation error you were experiencing is no more.

Just to update this. After a little playing aroundwith load order and wrye bash I have managed to get Deadly Reflex running. I changed the key used for drawing my weapon as suggested and have been playing for the last couple of hours with no problems so far. Thanks for the advice.
