It seems to be crashing as soon as the game loads, I spent so much time getting all the mods and installing, I'd hate for it to be something stupid.

Oh it almost invariably is but don't feel bad, happens to all of us.
It sounds from your brief description that it is either a missing or out of order master file(.esm). Giving a bit more info on when and exactly what happens when your game crashes would help.
Do you use BOSS? If not the first thing you should do is download BOSS and run it because that will sort out many of your issues.

I think, he uses BOSS. Many Mods seem to be well ordered. But there are some problems:

- "Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp" -> not needed included in the FWE MMM Patch that you use
- the use of Fallout Remastered but wrong placement of the " Fallout Remastered - FWE.esp" and "Fallout Remastered - EVE (PI Merge).esp" -> both esps are supposed to be placed after "Fallout Remastered.esp" - and in addition to that the whole bunch of Fallout Remastered should be loaded at the very end of you loadorder (right behind the bashed patch)

Your case how it′s supposed to be ordered:

Bashed Patch, 0.esp
Fallout Remastered.esp
Fallout Remastered - EVE (PI Merge).esp
Fallout Remastered - FWE.esp
Fallout Remastered - Mart's Mutants Mod.esp

- for Fallout Remastered you use the wrong set of EVE mods - FR requires a merged variant from http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16787. The compatible patches from the merged EVE thing should be placed directly after the main mods (FWE and MMM).

Dc interiors on my LO loads after the dlc plugins so dont know if thats causing a problem as his is loading second.

I've made the latest corrections, I used BOSS already, which spat out my basic load order.

I use Wrye Flash, does that replace the need for a merged patch using fo3edit?

It still crashes on load, trying to load it without FWE to see if that's the cause.

With Wrye Flash you make a "Bashed Patch.esp" instead of a merged patch. The esp should already be present in your "Mods"-tab. If it is not, you'll find a template in the so named subfolder under [Mopy] (rename the template correctly "Bashed Patch.esp").

Once you're done with BOSS, right mouse-click on the bashed patch and rebuild the patch; follow the instructions.

Added: you could also try http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout3_1.html or the http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8886 that still helps many people.

Added 2: When you crash during the load screen, it might be a problem with DarnUI; reinstall the mod in FOMM (not just reactivate but uninstall and install anew). And make sure that you have the hotfixed DarnUi version.

Hi.

From experiencing this kind of problem myself, I have found it happens when BOSS places the esm (masters) in the wrong order.

  • Look in Wrye Flash and notice any mods that are highlighted with an orange tick..rather than the normal green.
  • If there is click on mod or mods (with orange tick) and notice in the right pane the order of masters it is dependent upon and change your esm order around to match this.
  • Sometimes you'll have 2 or 3 mod conflicts like this, just juggle around esm order till all mods show green tick.


Also making sure if using patches first make sure mods your patching for are fully installed before applying any patch, especially when said patch comes with Textures and Mesh changes.

I have found this works every time for me, I hope it helps you with your issue. :wink_smile:

This is being caused by the EVE (PI Merge) file.

If you notice, the file is not for EVE itself, but for Paradox Ignition's merged version of EVE.

Turn it off, or download Paradox Ignition's version of EVE, one of the two.
