Hello there, I have been looking for a mod that effects the sliders used when creating a character's face. The idea is to disable the annoying function that causes multiple bars to move when you move one. For example you go to Lips, and mess with the Small/Large sliders, and then five other bars move that seem to negate any real change. Not sure if such a Mod exists, I have been trying many different keywords on TESnexus. Face, Generator, Sliders, Creation, Unlock.

I have had no luck, and I think it would allow me to more finely tune my character's appearance. Not sure how people get their character's face to look so good, figured they would a utility like the mentioned above. Or there are is a Mod I am not aware of. :rolleyes:

Any reply is greatly appreciated.


I don't think there's any mod like that. That's how http://www.facegen.com works. If you install Facegen modeller demo, and try to make a face, you will see moving one slider affects others.

Pretty cool program, not what I was looking for, though very. Have a friend who would find that pretty cool though. So thanks. =)

Since Oblivion uses Facegen SDK for face creating/generating, it's possible to transplant .fg to Oblivion save file via utility like http://web.t-online.hu/laga/zennorious/oblivion/downloads/fg2ob/fg2ob.zip. Of course, it will give best result for vanilla human head mesh.

thanks! I'll give it a try, although I didn't see in the description where it mentions that Frostcrag would be visible from within the Imperial City walls?

Oh, perhaps it doesn't mention it but the download comes with a LOD folder which allows Frostcrag to be visible from virtually anywhere (within a realistic distance, of course). Trust me, that mod has always been my permanent Mage Home, I highly recommend it.

I was poking around the forums a few weeks ago and saw reference to a farming mod or some type of mod that uses Simple Trees (old mod - can plant trees). That mod had some little bugs and stuff and I'd really like to use it again if it's updated in this other mod. Might anyone know what I'm looking for? I can't think what it's called. Thanks.

Note: Sorry I hope this is the right place to post this: if you need me to go to the main forum and post I will. *I accidentally posted in the MW mods detective thread and they said that the thread was not for reqs; I do think it fits here though*

Hey guys, I'd really appreciate it if someone could direct me these types of mods:

-All of the unofficial patches that you know of.

-A mod that makes it so that guards don't come running when you kill a NPC in a city, even if they didn't see you.

-A mod that fixes the leveling system, i.e. stops all of the creatures leveling with you.

- A mod that fixes the problem where a container you don't own respawns over time.

-A mod that allows you to gain ownership of a house after you kill it's owner, like in Morrowind.

That's nothing to do with ownership. If I want, I can make respawning chests that belong to me. Making respawning chest is done by checking 'Respawn' when making a container. If you try to make one container in game safe, it will affect all containers that share same base object.

One more question for now, does anyone know of any mods that add new areas besides Stirk, Sutch, Kvatch Rebuilt, Tamriel Rebuilt and Elsweyr the Deserts of Anequina? I checked that link you gave me Tomlong but the only link there links to a topic that no longer exists here.

Note that I don't want to know about any small areas, I'm only interested in large ones like Stirk.

Finally I come across this thread. I looked for it yesterday but couldn't find it.

I'm looking for a store mod that I had in my last Oblivion install. I searched TES Nexus but had no luck. The store mod featured merchants that were small bears that walked on their hind legs and wore hats (top hats I think). The store was in one of the cities ( I think Skingrad) but not sure. Any help finding the mod will be appreciated. :)

Also I'm using Francesco's mod and once had a Francesco's No Spiders plugin to keep the custom spiders from spawning but now I can't find that anywhere. Does anybody know where I may be able to grab that?
