I'm pretty sure there's a mod that lets you assign new color and hair to your character after leaving the first dungeon, but I don't recall what it is.

hey, i seem to recall a mod from a while ago called Risk. where you only have one life, and you can't really save the game (it autosaves every few minutes), and therefore everything you do is a risk. When you die, you can't reload that character anymore and there is a little memorial thing that states his accomplishments when he was alive. Anyways i was wondering if this was made, or if there is a mod similar to it. Thanks :)

You can do it via the console command http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/ShowRaceMenu:

1) Open the console (usually with ` or ~) and type showracemenu and press Enter.
2) Don't close the console... leave it open and make your changes.
3) When you're done, don't click the Done button. Instead, press Esc to bring up the menu and Save into a new (recommended) or existing slot. You won't be able to save via the console.

Then just load the new save. Also, don't change race as that will mess up stats.

I also though I recently saw a mod that allows you to change hair and hair color in the game, but I cannot even remember why I ran across it. I was definitely not looking for it. I do not think I was even looking for a hair mod...

I cannot find that permanent death OBSE mod either: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1084736-any-mods-that-restrict-saving/page__p__15807071__hl__permanent%20death__fromsearch__1&#entry15807071.

Aaages ago, I think someone mentioned a mod that enabled you to remove any pesky arrows that were stuck in your character, rather than running around for hours with one blatantly poking from your heart. I've had a quick search of the usual places, but my search-fu has so far failed me. Does anyone remember the mod's name (if it did indeed exist - my memory may be failing me too!)?

Un-equipping and re-equipping the relevant arrows usually takes care of the problem.

I'm looking for the mod that adds the glass sword seen in the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16767

Has anyone seen this weapon in a mod yet? I still can't find it.

Thank you so much for posting this! I'd forgotten it, to be honest.

Hm, perhaps my beleagured, half-dead Paladin (facing all of FCOM, and more! :gun: ) is due for a facelift and hairdo... :twirl:

Are you just talking about the blue glass sword?

There are dozens of glass recolours on TESNexus.

no, it's not a retextured mod. It looks like a mesh change.

I did a reinstall of Oblivion weeks ago and since then, I've so far recovered most of the mods I used before. One missing mod has me stumped tho! I have no idea what mods contains this hair / wig that my Breton character is using (see image below). I've looked through many mods on TES Nexus, searched for shop and wig mods... All I know is that it was a buyable wig from a shop, not one of those race mods that changes hair n stuff.

The only possible clue I might have is a mod I once had that placed a shop in the area where you have those tougher bears roaming about in vanilla Oblivion, in the West Weald. Whatever that mod was, it's about the only one I can think of, but have no idea what it was called. It may not even be the right mod. Kinda drawing at straws here. lol

I think that comes in one of the Beauty packs...Ren's more than likely...I believe you can also by them "rigged" so your hair doesn't fall through your charecter.

(here you can buy the rig from a store in the IC market)
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16930

he has another one with 20 more hairs so you should check that out too. Also, you can buy wigs from the Apachii Goddess Store (its one of the biggest used mods, in the top 100, so I should not have to link you)
there you can find about 10 rigged hairs, and about 20 standard hairs (not rigged)

That is not Ren's hair. It remind me of Soya, but that is not it either.

Edit: ...just went through all of the mods on TESNexus with "hair" in the name and did not see that one...You may want to look into Growlf's hairs. (Search "growlf".) I cannot link those pages...

Pretty sure http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18417 has that, and then some. Big mod, and integrates just fine with FCOM, which makes me happy. Might not matter to you, of course, but still worth a look. Oh, and there are also modular mods, for most (all?) the separate things it adds, IIRC.

edit: oops, but not clothes, sorry. forgot to mention that. :) What kind of clothes were you after, and for any body model(s) in particular, or vanilla?

I like http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17558, and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/search.php?name=&scid=20&author=Kafei&mname=&desc=&size1=&size2=&downloads1=&downloads2=&udate1_day=0&udate1_month=0&udate1_year=0&udate2_day=0&udate2_month=0&udate2_year=0&ldate1_day=0&ldate1_month=0&ldate1_year=0&ldate2_day=0&ldate2_month=0&ldate2_year=0&endorsemants=&images=&readme=&advltonly=&page=1&orderby=name&order=ASC.

Edit: Apparently there is a http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9325 for her spectacles mod, a pseudo-fix for beast race users, if you opt to get that one. That mod is a nice way to add the finishing touches to an outfit.

Thanks Ntom and Tomlong75210, the mod in question was indeed Growlf's Animated Hair. For some reason I didn't think that was it when I was looking through the mods on TES Nexus.

About the Apachii Goddess Store... know about that one, have been using it for ages.

Okay okay, I know, I know...My Oblivion isn't working, and pumping it full of mods at this time is dumb. But I am not going to install any more mods until I get it stable again, but that doesn't mean I can't look for mods for once I get it stable now does it?

Anyways, one thing that bothered me with my recent (working) installation of Oblivion was that I really wanted time to flow naturally! I know there is a console command you can do to control time flow, but I was curious if there is a mod that controlls time to a more realistic flow...like 1 hour in game = 1 hour in real life.

It would be amazing if there was a mod that synchronized the game clock with your clock, or allowed you to set the current exact time so that way when I am awake during the day, I will have it the same hour in the game.
Ofcourse, no telling what use the wait command would be anymore...unless ofcourse wait is still aloud, but then that would offset the clock and so forth...

anyways, just post some time mods please :P thank you :)

Use the bashed patch tweak (Globals>Timescale) to set the timescale to 1. At the cost that you would be unable to modify the timescale through a plugin, you can also use the console command "set timescale to 1" to achieve the same end.

hmmm...but no mods?
I am sure setting time scale is fine and all, but I am sure someone could get more creative with time control in a mod :)
but no big deal I suppose to use the command

Technically, the bashed patch is a mod, and any mod that you would be looking for would only be changing that global, albeit dynamically or something. I have not heard of a clock syncing mod, but the most creative as far as I am concerned is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27352 by TheNiceOne.
