I have something maybe y'all can help with. I'd like to download Elsweyr Deserts of Anquina, but TESnexus has it set to hidden and it doesn't seem to be on planet Elder Scrolls. Do any of you know where else I can get it?

So I was in sinkhole cave and there was some tabaxi named jo'something at the end. Is she from Integration? Is she important for anything? I have no idea, i just killed her to death cause she tried to kill me.

The omod version on TES Nexus is still up. You can download it http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30848.

oh the good ol' days of when I first joined the PC Oblivion community :) what fond memories I have...I also have some quite bitter memories too, but that is a different story.

I was sorting through all my really really old messages in my inbox, and one of them really peeked my interest. When I was talking to the person, at the time the mod was only in WIP but I am hoping it got finished. if not, oh well - I need to be focusing on getting my Oblivion working anyways.
anyways, we were discussing a mod that had no purpose...but to slap NPCs silly...litterally, slap.

At the time most of it had been completed:the animation and so forth, but they were working on sound effects....so...any word if that got finished and where I could find it?

hey, i seem to recall a mod from a while ago called Risk. where you only have one life, and you can't really save the game (it autosaves every few minutes), and therefore everything you do is a risk. When you die, you can't reload that character anymore and there is a little memorial thing that states his accomplishments when he was alive. Anyways i was wondering if this was made, or if there is a mod similar to it. Thanks :)

If it was Jo'beala, then yes she's from Stranded Light, and yes she's a bit important. I won't elaborate, but its also possible you didn't actually kill her. Either way the character matters.

@Fable: It says that is only conversion data, and you need the original mod- "Only useful if you have Elsweyr the deserts of anequina". Are you sure its of any use if I don't have the original files?

i figure it shouldnt be too hard to tell, not too many tabaxi running around skulking in imperial city isle caves. also, im pretty sure i killed her and took all her stuff. not sure how she's gonna come back from that one unless she's some kind of kitty jesus.

next bug: Galerion Unarmored Acrobatics isnt increasing my acrobatics skill when i get hit. either i'll figure out how to fix it, or i'll tweak the progress levels in progress and go and jump in a corner until my acrobatics level is correct.

Anyone aware of any relatively small, right now I'm using Shadowcrest Vineyard by Korana and that's about as big as I'd like to go, house mods that come with a few actors for life? I know the example I mentioned (Shadowcrest) comes with some actors in the entrance, but I'm looking more for in the house directly. Just looking for a house mod that has some life to it without having to recruit companions and drop them off there.

I recommend BlackMarshHall, best looking player house, ever! Castle Almgard is also done very nicely.

The Red IC mod is called Regal Imperial City or Darker Regal IC.

I'm having trouble finding a leveling mod that I like. I've tried Kobu's, realistic leveling, nGCD, and a few others. My problem always seems to be that I zoom through levels 6-15. Is there a leveling mod where you only level after X number of realtime hours? I'd love it if I could set it up where I level every hour from 1-5th level and then maybe every 3 hours from 6-15, and then maybe move it up a bit for the higher levels. With Kobu's I think if I was smarter I could set it up better. I use spells alot and so my intelligence and willpower are in the 80's at level 11.

If anyone has a suggestion for a timed-leveling mod, I'd appreciate it. If someone is a master of Kobu's then I'd gladly accept advice for that mod as well. I tried just changing my level with the console but Kobu's immediately levels my back to 11 when I start playing again. I don't have WyreBash, so please don't suggest anything that requires that utility. I haven't been brave enough to tackle TomLong's guide yet. I plan on trying it after this playthrough.

TIA

As i am compelled to pick up anything that would be even marginally worth money, is there a mod that changes over encumbrance to the way it works in Fallout 3? That is, too much weight = unable to run, instead of complete immobility.

Also, does a mod exist that would show enchanted weapons charges on the HUD like arrows are shown?

Is there a dueling mod, where you get a bonus to, well, anything really for using a one-handed weapon and no shield? maybe based on blade and block skill?

I'm not terribly familiar with KCAS, but I have to imagine there is a function to reduce the amount of "experience" you generate when you use a skill (in the effort of slowing down how many uses it takes to get to the next skill level, and thus the next character level). If not you can always get http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14304 to do the same thing, and it can definitely tinker with those factors.

KCAS comes with its own skill rate plugins, if you do not want to try out Progress yet, which requires OBSE v18. I highly recommend the latter though. Kobu is very modular for all of the skill and attribute contribution methods it offers, but it is a leveling mod, not a skill rate mod. You can reduce how much skill contributes to an attribute, so that it takes longer to level up and what not, but that is not the same as reducing the amount of experience contributed by a skill on a level by skill increase basis.

Edit: I only used KCAS until I switched to nGCD. If you like to take advantage of KCAS' tweaking capability, that is the mod to upgrade to if you feel like upgrading. It also requires OBSE of course. If you only use its preset leveling options, Realistic Leveling is the simplest of the current leveling mods that carries on a number of the ideas of KCAS. These are only leveling mod recommendations, smooth leveling mods, which is where KCAS fits. You would need to add a skill progression mod such as Progress or any of the KCAS or OOO or Fran or any other skill-rate changing mods to use in conjuction with them.

It looks like both Better Cities and Unique Landscapes have patches for compatibility with each other.

Should I use the Unique Landscapes patches, or should i use the Better Cities patches? I think I've been using both.

You should not be using both. You are duplicating the patches, and the BC versions are the ones that are compatible with BC.

:shakehead: pwease people i need to find me some cool armor mods that aren't retextures and are more like new meshes, so like, armamentarium is a no-no :P

the reason i really need these is i'm going to be making machinima and i need very character specific armor.

:banghead: i've looked forever and can't find any decent ones

What type of character are you trying to make? I guess "cool" is relative, haha.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1085263-looking-for-a-nice-armor-mod/page__p__15817841__hl__cool%20armor__fromsearch__1&#entry15817841 <-- someone asked this not too long ago, maybe you will find something there

Did you try tag search for armor and sort by downloads, descending? You may want to try category search for armor instead because tag search may turn up popular quest mods that add armor. It is probably worth it to try both searches. There are so many armor mods that finding a real best list would be nearly impossible unless armors were divided into subgroups (i.e., retextures, thief, ranger, etc.)

Apachii Goddess' store and Heroes Store, and Eyecandy Collection have a large selection of high quality armors with completely new meshes. Some of them aren't even bikini armors :P

This doesn't exist? Even as a part of larger mod?

You can just install "clothed" versions. You do not have to be perv to appreciate a more realistic (or simply better-looking) body. :P

hmmm...but no mods?
I am sure setting time scale is fine and all, but I am sure someone could get more creative with time control in a mod :)
but no big deal I suppose to use the command

I second Tomlong's suggestion for Automatic Timescale!
You might also want to check out http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25536 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23366. I'm not sure if these fit your original query, but they're really cool to have anyway!

Try http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19847. It has a slapping feature in the last version!

Hey!

I may be delusional here, but I seem to remember seeing a mod that makes the Dark Brotherhood or the Raiment of the Crimson Scar into a multi-piece armor. That is, instead of them being full-body, they would be gloves/boots/leggings and cuirass. A mod that would add an alternative version instead of replacing the said armor would be good as well - as long as it uses the same mesh.

Thank you!

Hey, so I remember having a mod that made it so while I was in 3rd person, I still had a crosshair, it made using the bow (and magicka) more accurate for me, and I think http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2706, but it's not working, so I'm assuming that's because I use DarNified UI now.

Bottom Line: I'm looking for a mod that adds the first person crosshair to 3rd person, that is compatible with DarNified UI.
