Mod Detectives 111

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:04 am

Alright, I'm looking for a mod that adds Detection spells for various things such as magic items, scrolls, weapons etc... I was able to find this really cool looking one - http://http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14316 - which svcks because it seems like EXACTLY what I'm looking for but it doesn't seem to work for me. Are there any others like it?

That links is broken or something, and you probably needed to install the latest version of OBSE or something...

Anyone know of any female chainmail cuirass that is actually practical? You know... one that actually has sleeves? And doesn't care more about showing cleavage than protecting the chest? :P

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24078, or EVE, mods make armors fit the HGEC female bodymodel, there is one for vanilla Oblivion's armor, Armamentarium, Artifacts and MMM, and none of those mods has skimpy bikini armors. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18417 adds a whole bunch of new weapons and armor, so maybe give it with EVE a go?

Thanks. That one worked fine for transferring the Sigil Stone power to Fin Gleam.

So i've heard there are mods that allows adding enchantments to already enchanted items? My current load order demands LAME compatibility (if that even is a concern).

Nope. Look - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/24078-3-1240949454.jpg - that's the female chainmail with EVE - same design as the vanilla chainmail... as you can see, the girls get the shaft compared to the male chainmail, because guys get full arm protection, and girls get none. Not to mention no collar bone protection or lower neck protection like the guys version has... oh and let's not forget that important little cleavage window.

I'm getting very tired of bad NPC/mobs attacking my horse and/or companion instead of me. Half the time I go to fight the NPC/mob while it is attacking my horse and end up hitting my horse (which then starts to attack me, which is very embarrasing because I usually have to "kill" it : )

Anyway, pretty sure I saw a mod (part of a mod?) that would make the bad NPC/mob attack you (the player character) instead of the player character's horse (or, companion). Or, at least make it so that once you attacked the NPC/mob it would change it's focus to you instead of your horse/companion.

Any help in finding the mod that would make that change would be extremely appreciated. My horse will thank you also : )

Thanks,

Tarl

Oh right, My light armor using assassin sticks with the Morag Tong (leather) armor, i had forgotten it looks like that. I guess it's eyecandy over practicality :hehe: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18417 offers nothing suitable either?

Armamentarium is just re-colors of existing armors & weapons.

I'm probably missing a blatantly obvious mod, but is there anything that fixes the horrible http://s903.photobucket.com/albums/ac239/powermapler/?action=view¤t=DistantLandsvcks1.png Just something not so...blurry.

I tought it has ome new models too? Or maybe it's some other mod i have

Anyway, i'm pretty sure this wasn't answered in this thread: is there a mod that allows locking doors based on you security skill? Searches from nexus with neither "Locking" nor "Security" comes up with anything. Having OOO installed, running away screaming seems to have become quite common tactic, it would be good to be able to slow the enemies down.

That's not Distant Land but the Noise Reducer.
Try the ones listed under 40 on http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/957424-custom-bain-projects/page__view__findpost__p__13834280

Requires OBSE. However, some detect spells don't work for me after a while. I have no idea why. And I thought I found some Japanese mod that does similar thing somewhere.... Found: http://www.4shared.com/file/111485480/faac6448/DetectItemSpell010.html. Also requires OBSE, and it's in Japanese.

Anyone around here know what mod I can find the armours seen in http://tesnexus.com/downloads/images/30841-1-1270210776.jpg pic? I noticed them when I was poking around the Nexus, but this picture is from a pose mod.

I think the girl is wearing SkeletonK's Nightshade Armor. There are a few versions: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/search.php?name=Nightshade&scid=20&author=&mname=&desc=&size1=&size2=&downloads1=&downloads2=&udate1_day=&udate1_month=&udate1_year=&udate2_day=&udate2_month=&udate2_year=&ldate1_day=&ldate1_month=&ldate1_year=&ldate2_day=&ldate2_month=&ldate2_year=&endorsemants=&images=&readme=&advltonly=&page=1&orderby=name&order=ASC

Edit: near dude on the left seems to be wearing this Dark Dragon armor - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2920

Eh, the two I'm least interested in. The guys on the right side are the more important ones, though the rest would be good too.

I think those are pretty cool too. I recognized one, went down the first 10 pages a search for "black" and then "dark", sorted by "Downloads" + "Desc". I am curious to know what mods those came from. The guy wearing what looks like a black retexure of the steel armor, that looks vaguely familiar... I do not have time to do a more thorough search (or brain-wracking), unfortunately. Hopefully, someone else can turn those up for you.

The blonde guy on the right side all the way at the end of the table (his head is right next to the fire) is wearing Andragon's Sotonhorian armor, but it's been edited with extra pauldrons and the gauntlets and boots are retextured daedric.

Don't know about the other four. I only recognized the one because I'm actually working on an edited version myself for a mod I'm working on.

I'd like to know what mr. featherneck's cuirass is.

But, I'd also be willing to bet this is a collection of privately altered armors.

I'm looking for a mod that changes the aggro radius in combat. I'm tired of being stuck in combat for five minutes straight only to watch a mud crab slowly come up to attack. <_<

Is there something compatible with Reneer's Guard Overhaul?
(That changes just the guards, but I really want it to apply to everything.)

The couple I've found have said they're not compatible...

Are there any mods that make the shops sell better items? I've looked around on tesnexus but only found ones that make them sell all leveled items from the beginning; I'm after one that adds more of the generic magical /enchanted items .

Thanks
