Oh, well FO3 supports multiple body types at once. Oblivion does not. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29564, and there is an equippable body mod (but you would have to be nvde I think, haha...)

Ah, didn't realise. Thanks. And yeah, Reneer's mod does look interesting. Not sure what the other one you're referring to is, and... yeah, think I'd give it a miss anyhow. :D

my brain is a bit dead...and I really don't feel like spending hours searching the Nexus (or elsewhere) for some mods, so, if you don't mind:

A little rant about Kendo Gunman first:
Spoiler

I created a new charecter - a theif/assassin, all around pscho - and figured, what else compliments a psycho than running around with a gun? I saw the Kendo Gunman mod, sounded intresting, and though enemies looked silly when they used a staff, it was a rather intresting new way of playing. But ofcourse, Kendo Gunman only made the guns available to at a high level for lots of money so I did some changes to the esp so there was a weaker, more purchasable variant on the gun. After running a test with the new version, I found I made the gun to weak. I went back into the cs to edit it, and back into testing, where I got killed by a level 1 bandit in Vilverin! Lesson learned: Just because you like blowing people's heads off in Borderlands, doesn't mean it will be the same fun in Oblivion.
It doesn't help any of your stats, you don't get sneak attack bonuses, the animation looks terrible in first person, but in third person you can't aim at all!

(I put spoilers around the rant so you all don't have to look at it and just get on with this post)
So, aside from a gun mod (unless you know any others that may work better) I figured, why not be a thief that is more lore-friendly? So, I decide to go the ol' knife n' bow thing. All my mods I had installed for my first character were mods that fit a righteous good person. So, obviously these mods wouldn't work well for a psycho. I have the Stealth Overhaul, and a good looking bow and knife, but anything that is oriented to bad players in general would be nice. Oh, and the knife isn't available until after completing a part of the Dark Brotherhood, so a good beginners knife would be great too :P

Ntom, have you checked out Running4Covers' List of Stealth Mods yet? Not necessarily about bad toons only, but it does list quite a few nice mods regarding stealth play.

You should not link to that mod (tons of nudity.) Also, this is one of the mods I was thinking about when I said, but I think you'd have to go nvde...

So, what are the top weather mods these days? I just reinstalled Oblivion last night, and I'm trying to keep it clean and lite for the most part (I will not, for instance, run anything with OBSE as I find it prone to crashing). I'm using Natural Environments at the moment, but I hear it's old and buggy (it's raining constantly too, is that a bug or a...feature?) and would be open to newer, cleaner alternatives.

Natural Weather is buggy, and Natural Vegetation is made obsolete by a newer, better alternative. I recommend Weather: All Natural, but HTF has updated Atmospheric Weather System (AWS), and Enhanced Weather (EW) has been updated too! :D

http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/downloadmods <-- links to the four most popular weather mods toward the bottom
http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/stabilization/outdatedmods <-- with suggested alternatives

Edit: Get the latest version of OBSE v18 stable. It is not prone to crashing. However, a mod that uses it might be prone to crashing, as well as bad configurations made by the users (i.e., incorrect installation and load ordering.)

This may be a really silly/dumb/stupid question, but I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find a stock clothing/armor replacer for Robert's male body (I have Shivering Isles). If anyone knows where the I could find such a replacer, that'd be grand =)

Version 5 includes the replacers. The included replacers are the same mods http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=430539 uploaded for v4. You have to search "Robert Muscular" or something. I have not had a problem finding these things for some reason...

thank you for that :) took awhile to find, but I found it and just from skimming through the list I found a couple (I literally mean 2) things I thought that would add a good element to theiving in the game.

On a side note, I did search the list for knives and only came up with one result, while they are not bad, and I could see myself using them, I would still like to see if anyone has any recommendations before I go about downloading it.

I was searching for "Robert male body replacer" and variations of the same... never thought to add muscular into the mix. Thanks :)

It is usually better to use shorter, less exact search terms (i.e., "Robert Muscular", "Stock Muscular" or "Robert Stock" etc.)

Anyone know of a mod that adds a belt across the chest and waist sort of like how the DB armor does? I thought I saw one awhile back, but can't remember the name of it.

also, still looking for that glass sword in the DR5 trailer.

ok i was browsing tesnexus one day and swore i saw these mods:
one to make things like...worth more....so its actually worth stealing...or it may have been adding better items to houses.
one to make vendors sell higher level items at higher prices.
and one more to arrows that are on fire when u shoot them...

for some reason ive searched for hours and cannot find these again....
thanks guys

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4935 Or http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18001 Maybe http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25287 Or hey, http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28789 instead...

Also, http://www.dreamingthepyramid.net/TNR-TIE.html does this to some extent (from memory), along with a bunch of other things.

Okay, I'm looking for a mod(s) that makes Frostcrag Spire, Battlehorn Castle, Dunbarrow Cove, and Deepscorn Hollow much more difficult to acquire. High prices, extended acquisition quests, level requirements, etc. A link to a good delayer would help also.

Thanks guys and gals! You're the best!

Other than "Losing My Religion", is there a mod that noticeably differentiates cathedrals, temples, and so on?

"Other than" simply because that one isn't finished, and I'm not sure when it will be... :( (Not complaining, by the way, and I love the work that I've used.from the same modder).

A mod that will let me kill an imperial guard and get away with it providing no one else seen it?

I'm tired of killing one on a road in the middle of nowhere and half way across the map the guards know about it.

I've got no psychic but it's not what I'm after. thanks

Am looking for a stealth mod I at least think I read about. At my age I may have had a delusion but.............. If you have a successful sneak attack and then hide again the mobs do not know where you are. I'm tired of sniping someone on the other side of a room and having the npc's who are behind columns etc. automatically knowing where I'm hiding. I seem to think I read about one like this but haven't been able to find it on Nexus. TY for any assistance.
