bah, you beat me to it.

I had to get to my home pc before I could find it. I couldn't remember it.

Thank! Really appreciate people on these forums!!

Now lets see if my Nvidea Geforce 9800GT, 4Gb ram, and my 2,2 x 4 core cpu can handle QTP, Mikes Cloth Replacer, Mythic animals and creatures (all high-res mods) at the same time!!!!

I'm looking for a mod I saw quite a while ago that replaced the Female Iron Greaves with actual armor, rather than a few strips of metal. Thanks in advance if anyone knows what it is.

Alright, new skill mods. I see a couple of unarmored skill mods on tesnexus, but they all date from 2006. Are there any new ones out there that take advantage of OBSE? I know there used to be an Unarmored Skill for Everyone, but I'm not sure where that went.

Any additional new skill mods you know of are welcome. I'm going right now to pick up a spears of cyrodiil. I dunno if there is a polearm/spear skill mod out there.

I remember there was a mod that added a kung-fu like sounding voice to use for female characters. I don't know if it was a race or a voice mod.

Seconded. The arms and legs of a lass are just as vulnerable as those of a lad. I'd rather they don't get hacked to pieces.

Of course, I might have heard of the mod already. Er, I might even possess a copy of it! Hard to tell with thousands and thousands of mods sitting on the hard drive.

I found something like that in http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15349 and TGND Female Body and Clothing Replacer (TES NEXUS search this on ya own)

Took me awhile, but I finally found the thread:

Unfortunately, no dice. :( Still the same armour. Just, well, a bit less busty than some.

Hm. Any completely redone Iron Armours out there? And of the considerably less skimpy variety, rather than more? IOW, more realistic, or um, "armour-y". Because it's the base model that is at fault, as far as I'm concerned. Slight alterations for body type just aren't going to cut it.

edit: And, it seems, the male arm greaves need attention, as well as the arms and legs for females.

A few days ago I saw a thread about a overhaul to the sound and music in oblivion. It added laughs and people noises in inns, and different sounds in cities, dungeons and all kinds of places, as well as replacing the default music in the wilderness/dungeons and towns.

Could anyone link it?

Something like All Spells Avalible for Enchanting and Spell Making?

That looks interesting but what I was looking for was something that added enchantments that whould add effects that are more unique like the abillity to enchant my war hammer with a knock back effect to send my enemies flying or the old slow fall enchantment from morriwind.

The greaves of the iron armor from TFF Wearable Male Pants are actual practical looking greaves/pants, not that goofy mustard colored "skirt" that the default iron armor uses.TGND's vanilla armor/clothes replacer also uses an actual greaves model instead of that skirt wannabe. It looks 100%cooler, imo.

At least it's something. :D

Actually, yes, the legs there are heaps better. :) I didn't even look at that one, and right now I can't remember why.* Oh well. Thanks, Qawsed Asap, Tomlong and greenwarden.

Anyway, just for the record, I don't mind skimpy *clothing* at all. Seriously doesn't bother me in the slightest. Armour though, unless it's clearly not really meant to be armour, and is in fact just screenie fluffiness (which is fine, btw!) - I would rather armour look like it can protect men and women. In particular - and maybe because I've been favouring this type for a while - I think heavy armour should be quite comprehensive in its coverage. Hence the name, y'know? ;)

* Oh, could've been you apprarently need Fantasy Figures. I won't be using that. :(

Is there a mod that makes shadow/darkness a lot more useful? When I attack from the shadows they come right for me and don't even look. Not RGO or No Psychic Guards.

Chuck some more mp3s in there. :) You can even delete the ones that are there by default, and replace them, with the option of adding more as well, if you like.

There are various packs of music at, say, the Nexus. But really, most of them are ~OK at best, IMO. You could do much better just finding and adding for yourself. At least, that's what I did.

Also, I like using BMS (Better Music System, a freely, openly available mod for Oblivion, that relies on a couple of others - also free and open - mind you...) because it plays different music (of your choice) according to where you are (e.g., in various broad areas, like Elsweyr.)

(EDIT: Also if you know what the armor/weapon mod is.)
