Mod Detectives 114

Anyone knows of a modern-looking shield? Maybe modern is not the correct term, let's say... mecha-looking shield, or itf it's not available, an empty-mesh shield (a dummy shield with no mesh, so you look like you block arrows with your arm instead of a shield)

I downloaded Black Puppet armor and using any other kind of shield really ruins the theme

Maybe the shield from Pale_riders Paladin Armor?(Although the cross in the middle may not fit in a Mechna look. )

Hmm... no, doesn't work out well... I've downloaded it, but couldn't get a good texture for it. Shame, the shape is cool

What is the *best* NPC face replacer? I'm using TNR right now, and while some NPCS do look loads better, others are a bit...monstrous. Like, "I will eat your child's organs" monstrous. (Kay, maybe a tad exaggerated, but still. Fat Argonians creep me out; they look like they're about to go for your neck.)

Does anyone know of any modern-ish clothing packs? Something for a character that's randomly time-traveled or something. :)

Hi buddah (or anyone else), do you happen to have the Filefront version of StarX's Vanilla Vampires Revised backed up somewhere? The one on TES Nexus has missing resources and the Filefront link is dead. See http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1101083-starx-vanilla-vampires-revised/ for more info.

Hi guys and girls

Sorry for bothering you people again but I had a brilliant idea and I wish to follow it through (for once).
I am making a 2nd sky battle for my multi arena mod I am making. I was wondering if there are any mods that could make it so that lightening would strike the floating ruins in the arena.

Many thanks.

Is there a mod out there that adds destructible environments to walls, tables, barrels etc? I saw a mod like this for Fallout 3 called SP destruction but I can't find anything similar for TES Oblivion

After seeing this picture, i have to ask. The character in this picture is wielding the Dual wield Valdris, did some one release this as a Mod or was it a personal project? Please tell me that it was released as a mod.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/24623-1-1258987176.jpg

In MW i really loved using Katana3DG's weapon pack that also contained the dual wield Valdris. (He is not the original author of Valdris though if i remember correctly. )

I searched for Valdris on TesNexus and PES and found nothing, but that does not mean anything. It could be part of a bigger mod, or it is named differently. So if someone knows if it is released in a mod then please let me know?

Hey guys, anyone know where I can download http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/dagoth_jeff/19103-2-1251708649.jpg?t=1277779746 creature in the background? Thanks!

This one is close http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27110 although it doesn't look exactly like the one you have pictured. I haven't tried it, so I dont know how well it works.

Like the other poster said, I think there where copywrite issues on the orginal mod and it was pulled untill one was created from scratch. I dont know if it was this mod or one like it though.

Looking for replacements for night eye and detect life. Specifically, I recall using a Detect Life replacer in the past that changed it to more of a red pulsing type effect.

I recall there being a mod being made a little while ago that allowed you to scale your gold rewards. So you you could get a decent amount of gold from quest especially for things like OOO.

Well I know there's Enhanced Economy which has an option for increasing the amount of gold you receive from things like quests and leveled lists.

Personally i use this one for Night Eye: (And you can make it show the entire screen during set up if i remember correctly. So not just like in the screenshots. )

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14917

And for Detect life this one:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8574

There are probably more replacers for Night eye but that is the one i found and like.(Due to the fact that my char uses Night eye goggles. :) )

EDIT: Found another one for Night Eye, but i have not used it, so i do not know how well it works and all.

Thanks all! I have one more mod I've been looking for now. I used it a long time ago and can't remember the name or anything.

It was a simple mod that added all the enchant/spellmaking effects already available. Normally, you have to use/cast a spell with the effect first for it to show up in the altars, but this mod caused them all to show up already. Anyone know what this is called?

EDIT:

Actually, I think I may have found it myself. By the description it sounds like it does something different but I feel like this is it. Anyone know for sure?

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25372

EDIT 2:

More searching and I found this:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3039

This seems to be it. Found it myself, heh! Figures.

There's a mod that when looking at your map, it centers in on the Imperial City instead of the player. Its purpose is to create immersion alongside a non-visible character marker and a reduced/disabled compass. Does anyone know the mod's name or where I can find it?
