Also, two detective requests:

a) Does anyone have a mod to turn off the chameleon effect? I find it incredibly hard to aim/see if I have a weapon drawn with it on due to armor enchantments.

B) Is there a mod to allow you to change your character's appearance later on (like you would at the plastic surgeon in Fallout 3, for example?)

I have a copy of LAME 17,7, but I've had no experience with uploading things outside of pictures or mods on the Nexus, so I'd need a bit of help with that.

As for Arivia's question, a) can be done with Wrye Bash in a bashed patch(under tweak settings, look for the Magic section, set it to zero for off), and b ) can be done either with with Wrye Bash(or any program that lets you import faces) or in game with ShowRaceMenu(make sure you leave the console open, since you can't save the game with the race menu open, and you reset your stats if you accept the edits as your character. You must save the game after editing the face/hair/eyes, then reload the save).

The bashed patch worked perfectly, and I was able to use ShowRaceMenu as you described. After accepting, saving, and reloading, the only thing I could see that I had lost was progress on skills to the next rank - are there any other negative side effects/is this safe to use every time I'd wish to change my hairstyle?

Are there any armor/robe mods that allow my face to be completely hidden behind a veil of black? Like a black texture that is in front of the characters face. I already have the Ring Wraith mod, but I was looking for something that looks a little more knight-ish. Any help would be obliged.

You don't need a mod to change your characters appearance later on. You can just open the console (default ~ tilde key) and type in 'showracemenu' without the quotes.

I seem to remember running across a mod that consisted of gowns/dresses created by retexturing the Blue Velvet Outfit from vanilla in a variety of colors...or...perhaps I dreamed it. However, try as I might, I can't find the mod now. If there is such a mod, would appreciate someone pointing me to it, else I will create one. (I realize the Goddess Store mod collection has something like this in red and in black, but I want cream, yellow, green, etc. :lol:

)

There's a mod like that for Morrowind, which gave your character a 'Give me your money' dialog choice, and then based on a number of calculations, the offended NPC would either give in or fight you. The creator may have ported it to Oblivion.

I have not got around to Upperclass clothing rextextures in my clothing mod..So that would be colors I would use to go along with rest of my color themes that I use.

I'm trying to find some good wings mod. I'm using now Alexander's Wings, but I think they're poorly textured and modeled except two or three wings that are perfect, but they don't match with my character style.

I've seen a lot of screenshots including "armored" wings (they are a bit covered with armor pieces) that look perfect, but I don't know where to find it. I think I read that it was a private mod, but I want to think that I'm wrong.

Where can I find some good wings for my PC?

Black Velvet Outfit looks nice. :goodjob:

I actually retextured one to a *sorta* teal color...its worn by cape merchant Bettany in Hemingwey's Capes version 2; however, my work was quick and dirty and does not hold up well to close examination or application of lighter colors.

Beautiful stuff. Shows what quality retexturing can do with a mesh (I am assuming those are merely retextures).

Unfortunately, the rose dresses are a bit too soft, pastel and (probably more) pleasing to the feminine eye. I merely play Oblivion most of the time as a female warrior named Robyn (yeah, the one I use as a model for all my cape creations), but I am not of the feminine persuasion, myself. :hehe:

The reason I am interested in retextures of that mesh is.... you guessed it, because the cape mesh I use doesn't clip with the Blue Velvet Outfit mesh! :drool:

Corepc....if you recolor some Blue Velvet Outfit meshes, I would be pleased to try em out! :tops:

Could someone point me to a mod that unlocks the chargen sliders so they act independently of each other? Preferably a mod that doesn't have a whole lot of requirements for other mods, however, I do have OBSE v0018 beta 4 installed.

Not really possible for now, since it's http://www.facegen.com issue. And, I recommend to update OBSE 0018 beta to stable release(unless it's OBSE 0019 beta...).

I'm looking for a mod that retextures the vanilla body meshes, and possibly any mod that tweaks the vanilla body meshes to not have any seams. I'm not really interested in all the nvde patches that are out there that make drastic changes to the default bodies, given their compatibility issues.

Ring and Amulet display: There are mods like Resnod's Mannequins for armor, but is there an equivalent for the small stuff? I can only wear one Mundane Ring or Amulet of Axes, so I'd like to put my spares on display. I thought I'd seen a mod along those lines somewhere, but I may have been dreaming.

If there isn't one already, who else would like one if i make it?

This is a pretty easy question I guess, but I've seen all the posts about partners and so on... On the nexus I see all the CM partners.

What is the official CM companion and partners mod? And where would I find it?
