What's a good mod that will throw enemies off my trail when there is no possible way they could catch me? It's rather annoying to be chased across half of Crocodile and to never be able to find them either. Even worse. I get combat music but never see enemies becomes they run away at first sight.

I'd take anything that would make invisibility, hiddenness, or distance throw them off the chase. Outside especially. I don't necessarily wish to make it easier to hide, but getting rid of their omniscience should help.

Maybe try http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=305 I tried to find a link on the nexus but there doesn't appear to be one anymore.

If I recall correctly, you want to use the hardest setting of Attack & Hide because the lower settings are way too lenient.

Is there a mod that slows down how fast you move backward using OBSE? It seems like it would be more foolproof than other solutions that have to enact the speed penalty after you've already begun moving, which feels wonky.

Edit: I did find one, but it has a similar problem.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18121

It's an improvement in that it doesn't have to touch the speed stat, but there's still that wonkiness when you start moving backward and you move fast for a moment and then slow down, then when you move in a direction again it takes you a moment to speed back up.

Edit2: Found another one http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27433

There's still the wonkiness, but the timing overall is much better, and it also feels more natural in combat too. This seems to be the winner so far.

Edit3: Turns out the OMOBS Optional Combat Settings do reduce backward movement speed, it's just a lot more subtle (and the timing might be slightly better? Not sure.) Still toying around and trying to figure out what I like best.

Have you tried Phitts Phiting Phixes? It has a bunch of other options but you can disable them in the ini. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32651

This looks interesting! What about all the options that say n/a though? Do I set them to n/a (I assume that'd be bad), delete the number, or comment out the line?

Are there any musical mods that simply pauses the normal background music upon entering a battle, and then continues where it was when battle ends?
All the mods I found had some weird tweaks like not playing the combat sound unless either side starts doing damage or something like that. But I'd just like to have only the continuation of exploring music after battle

Now don't quote me on this but the only one I can find that has Daleks is a WIP http://www.moddb.com/mods/operation-stargate-oblivion It says it is slated for Oct 2010. It says it is supposed to combine stargate and Dr. Who in some way. I did not find any pics of Daleks. That is the only one that I could find unless it is a mod for their own use. You could always ask the person that uploaded the video. Good Luck

If it says n/a that means there was no value for it in vanilla oblivion because it was added by the mod. The numbers after the semi-colons are the original values so you know what they are in case you want to revert back to it, anything after a semi-colon also has no effect so ignore them. If you want to disable a certain part just read the descriptions and it will tell you how.

Personally I dropped QTP3 for http://tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=1830257 and I am more than happy. The size of the textures is the same as vanilla, but it changes the color saturation. The result is incredible without cutting your FPS.

Personally I prefer a combo of the two. I still think QTP3 is better for most Architecture and Dungeons (except I prefer Koldorn's Caves and Sewers), but MTGR is fantastic when it comes to landscape.

Okay, tell me if you've ever heard anything like this before. You know how some things have an 'autoexec' file? Well what I'm looking for is an OBSE mod that will read from a file and insert what's in it as console commands whenever a game is loaded, or a new game is made. That way I wouldn't have to redo the console command configuration for my mods.

Well, nevermind: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1113921-rel-autoexec/

I'm not sure how old the mod I'm looking for is, but it was a kinda super crazy looking black armour. You kinda looked like a bug in a way, tight fit, probably made for an assassine. I think the creator was Asien, but I'm not sure at all.
Everyone knew about it when I was a regular around here, so two years ago perhaps. It wasn't very "lore friendly"

Well the first release of UVII will be a very clear beta. There's no way I'm calling any initial release anything other than beta 0.9, until OBSE19 and NifSE are out of beta.

It's such a big mod there's no way it could possibly be bug free on the initial release.
so he is waiting for OBSE 19 and NifSE out of beta.
