Mod Detectives 118

Post » Wed May 11, 2011 11:15 am

I'm looking for two mods that I've seen in screen shots. The first one makes the size of the world map bigger and the second one adds a hud to that displays the map so you don't have to open your menu while playing.

Not sure what you mean by the first, the second is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26220. :foodndrink:

if I ever find the picture of the first thing I'm talking about I'll post.as for the link that looks pretty close. As long as it can show you the map of interior dungeons.

OK so I found the video where i saw the map. if you notice you can see a large area of the map. Is this part of one of the darnified ui mods or is it something different. The map is seen at around 23 seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItMSYQuzmzI

As you say 'one of the darnified ui mods'. Map scale can be set 40-100 though I've tried it at 30 and worked okay though the icons were slightly hard to make out.

The video shows DarkDarnUI at default settings. (at least it looks like mine and I didn't do nuthin...knowingly) :foodndrink:

Does anyone have a copy of Barabus' "Beast Race Skulls"? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

Searching for specific mods.

AI behaviour mods
Which ones are available? New animated tasks or even more advanced.

Mods that adding infrastucture to Cyrodiil
Mills, big plantations, farms, functioning mines, etc. Kinda weird that vanilla dont have such basic places to get Cyrodiil economy up and running.

Vanilla animation replacers/enchancers?

More varied food/prepared dishes in crates and on tables.
Like this fried chicken for example.

And finally fix for "flying" bug for all objects with Havok properties.

:( this mod is pretty cool. I unfortunately can't use it with my set up. I use my TV as the computer screen and sit on the couch about 10 feet away. So trying to read the text for quests is all most impossible for me because it's so small.

Here's one for the masters: I'm looking for a equip that looks like a arm cannon, like out of Metroid or Mega Man, on the right arm. Been playing a caster more and more, and I was hoping to get one for my mage, because it'd allow for a silly Mega Man shot of him.

I'm looking for a spell deleter that's compatible with Super Hotkeys. Last time I played I used a mod that both expanded hotkeys and added spell delete, but I want the extra functionality of the new Super Hotkeys.

Then try BTmod or Dark UI. They are a bit older, but some people prefer them due to the bigger size of the text. The two are almost the same UI, but in standard or dark versions-

I looked through the Nexus for some kind of save management mod. I see several that organize your saves between characters, which seems nice, but I'm looking for a kind of auto saver that runs in the background. FO3 thas a mod called http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3729 (Cipscis' Automatic Save Manager) that is really great and I was wondering if there was an Oblivion version. I hadn't saved for a while last night and suddenly Windows popped my game down to let me know it was about to do an update! When I returned Oblivion was really goofy and had to reload. :brokencomputer:

Dark UI looks to be what I was looking for. The text is just the right size and everything else looks good. There is only one issue. I don't see my Oblivion XP stuff any more. And when I went to deactivate it and reactivate it I don't get a Dark UI option only options with Darn and BTmod. I guess I'll have to check out the BT version. Even though I like the darker version of the UI.

There's http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10400. It can be set up to only run it's 'Streamsave' features. Highly configurable as to save interval, number of save slots, hotkeys etc.

anybody ever use a mod that changes the detect life color and look that they like? I HATE how the game has that brite pink glow for it and hides all the detail of characters when you talk to them. I did a search on tesnexus for detect life and didn't really like what I found.

Howdy, folks.

I'm lookin' for the mod that adds a falling wizard to the Market District in Imperial City.... I believe it's an Altmer female, but I don't remember for sure.... Definitely an easter egg tribute to Tahiel(sp?) from Morrowind.... She's got a letter that gives you a read-bonus to mysticism, and descibes her desire to fly, or something along those lines, and she's wearing a robe close to that of the one worn by the ill-fated Bosmer in Morrowind.

Any leads appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

...which reminds me that they don't work for SI merchants yet. I have added it to the forthcoming version of EE though...

Here ya go. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=1880 Simple and gets the job done. It's what I use.

And for http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=33300 this is probably as much variety you can get that I'm aware of. I prefer the Red one.
