Mod Detectives 119

Post » Mon Apr 25, 2011 9:46 am

And again, i am still hoping some one remembers.

I am not certain but i seem to remember that sometime last year some one mentioned a mod that changed the reflect damage on NPC and creatures to spell absorption or along those lines. But for the love of god i can not remember the name of the mod and author? Does any one know which one this might be?

Thanks in advance. :)

Duke Patrick's Combat Magic
But it was a beta and never finished. The core had issues that I could not solve until now with the newer OBSE.

Duke Patrick's Combat Magic II is done and some play testers have it. It will be released when I finish the quest that is a prerequisite to the mod.

PM me with an email address I can send attachments to and I will get you in as a play tester for the core mod (combat magic II ).

see here:

And again, i am still hoping some one remembers.

Hey!

Wanted to check here before I make a request thread.

Is there a mod out there that removes the cell names from the doors so that you won't know where one leads to until you've entered?

Cheers!

There was a mod that added lots of different texture fur armors and some other nordic/barbarian type items. It was located right next to Bruma gates.

Is there any mod which allows the player to roll out of a high fall, and reduces damage?

In general what are good recommendations allowing for more acrobatic stunts off environmental objects?

Searching for a mod that will allow me to upgrade the damage my sword does without a magical enchant. Example would be some sort of sharpening mod?

I remember someone mentioning a mod that removes the whole "class" system so you could level what you wanted. Kinda like how Skyrim is going to be. But I don't exactly know what to search for in terms of it. Anyone have any ideas what it might be? >.<"

Try Got No Class and maybe Anyclass, both by Tejon on TESNexus. Sorry no links from this computer.

I might try AnyClass. But I use ObXP to handle my leveling. So I don't know how well nGCD would work with it.

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a mod that repopulates (is that the right word?) the houses that are left empty after some quests that involve killing NPC's. Like the Agamir quest and all those crazy Mythic Dawn agents who get killed eventually? I'm pretty sure I read about a mod like that on these forums but I can't seem to find it.

Hi!

Is there a high poly mod for vanilla weapons and armor? Something like Qarl's texture pack but only for weapons and armor. I have saw some really nice high poly weapons and armor but they where not vanilla.

Hi Res Iron Weapons
Hi Res Iron Armor
OTUP Armor
MEAT (Mangler's Equipment 'n Armor Textures)
Better Staffs Texture
Improved Armory - Daedric Armor
Improved Armory - Daedric Weapons
Improved Armory - Ebony
High Res Silver Bow (? - haven't tried this one yet...)

If I remember any others (and/or have a look at my BAIN package list... ;), I will add them to the list above.

Thanks. It might be another mod that I'm looking for though. If I remember correctly, the idea was that it added completely new NPC's into the empty houses. Maybe it was one of those eternal WIPs.

Is there a pose mod that allows the PC to hold a dagger/sword with two hands facing up in front of his/her face?

Looking for a mod that can lift the lockpicking restrictions in OOO/FCOM (the one that gives the "This lock is beyond my abilities" message) Right now it feels like I made the wrong decision by not picking Security as a major skill :( (until I get the skeleton key) But please help!

I believe i recall a mod that made it so the ingame clock would keep ticking even when you were doing things like reading a book, making potions, repairing etc. Am i recalling incorrectly and would this even be possible? I dont mind if it makes it so i can no longer do these things while under attack as that would add some realism as well.

No need. Open the console and type "Set LapMinLock to 0". Think you might have to save and reload to get it working.

Thank you kind sir! Another small annoyance thwarted :) I am now complete! Also sorry if this was documented somewhere and I ignored it.
