Not a mod that I know exist, but is there any mod that allows you to edit sneak attack rates?
I'd like to limit it at x2 or x3 for ranged.

If you mean as a mount, then the first that comes to mind is this one.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27110

There are also Lions in Waalx Animals & Creatures mod, but whether they can be used as a mount or companion i do not know for sure, although i doubt it. I use WAC but so far i have not seen a lion from WAC that could be used as a mount or Companion.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1152670-wac-news/

Thanks!

The idea was to find *something* that has a maned lion and then I could maybe make a personal CM partner beast out of it or just put it in the game as essential and use minionz! to minionise it

@ Oromish:
I think the vanilla rates are max x3, that means you're already using a mod that increases the sneak ranged damage rate.
You could look everywhere to find a mod that changes it back or you could make yourself a small one:
http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/FPerkSneakAttackXXMult
1. open the construction set,
2. only load oblivion.esm, no need to load any other esps or esms,
3. go to "gameplay" and select "settings"
4. then change the appropriate thingies

I'm quite a noodle myself when it comes to modding, but that should do the trick. Make sure you load the mod after any mods you have that change the damage rates.
I see that vanilla has them at x2 and x3 already. I'm not sure, but try replacing the number with the same number. The Construction set will detect it as "modified" and will overwrite whatever the other mod has done... I think... hmhm...

Am I right?

And is there any mod which enables player to stab with arrows or do close range attacks with bow?

It doesn't add arrow stabbing... but it does add the ability to throw an arrow
also:
- 30 bow melee attacks (increased to 30 by changing grip) - meaning 24 different animations

Unnecessary Violence: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24936

Ended up doing that, works fine so far.
Thanks. :3

A roleplay mod list- tried to search through the dozens of other mod lists but found little
http://www.gamesas.com/?showtopic=983734 and http://amito.freehostia.com/Oblivion/OB-mods.htm are the two best (IMHO) for immersion/realism/role-playing. Both are outdated, but are good starting points. Note that I didn't link to the latest Delte thread, since the two last of his threads removed many of the immersion mods.

Hi, I'm looking for a mod that I saw but cannot find, that changed or added caves that were very natural and greenish in colouring, with logs and draqeing vines and such. I think it was a modders resource... any ideas?

I'm sure I've seen this before - like, in a mod. But I can't remember where, or if it was in fact in another game entirely. Or something.

A throat-cutting animation (or more than one), and a script to make it happen, given the right kind of weaponry plus circumstances.

Also, a garrotte, with appropriate animation(s), etc.

Mods to improve the faces of NPCs, and the PC? And one to add Beards and other facial details to the PC and NPCs, based on the age slider.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2832 adds instant kills one sleeping targets. I dont know if it comes with an animation.

I myself am looking for a mod that changes the how everything is leveled.
Is there a mod that makes every level static? Or near static?

What I want is:

Caves will always contain the same level enemies. So some caves always have lvl 20 monsters, while another always contains lvl 5 bandits.
Guards, NPC's, companions etc are always the same level.
Quest-awards are always the same. (And reflect the difficulty of the quest. No super items for an easy quest of course)
Loot is still random, but high level armor has to be rare again. (Like Morrowind, but not necessarily that extreme)

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=268 Seems to be doing this. Almost. But it also seems to add much, much more.
(screenshots contain many modded items and creatures)
I dont want all that extra stuff.
Could I get this mod to do what I want?

Hey! I recently ran into http://blogimg.goo.ne.jp/user_image/54/e5/c94b4aebaa0edbf32dce5fa191ebd2b4.jpg, of an Oblivion character... I nearly literally lol'd. Was this ever released, does anybody know? Or was it just somebody's personal thing? I looked around for 'anime' mods on Nexus and Google, but couldnt find this one.
Thanks for any help finding this.
edit: To clearify, I'm referring to the head mesh in the pic ;)

I think OOO is more static then Frans but it also has many new items.
It doesn't remove leveling but it adds caps, so for example bandits go 1-10 and you will never find them with glass or better equips, while some tougher enemies go from 16-20. So even when you are level 20 or 30, maximum level bandit will be 10, and if you are level 1 minimum level amazon will be 16 for example. I don't know real levels this was just an example of what OOO does. Items added by OOO are mostly just worn, unfinished, rusty versions of vanilla equipment but it also adds some unique items that can be very very hard to get and makes glass and daedric items very rare (1 set in whole game). My explanation is not nearly enough to describe OOO so you better head to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1159634-relz-oscuros-oblivion-overhaul-133/ and check the readmes to get the complete idea of it.

Installing the new items is optional - from your link:

The mod is now splitted into 2 files.. the main file.. which installs everything needed to run the mod.. and an add-on file which adds new quality user made items and creatures to the mod (more info can be found in the readme) Keep in mind that you have to download and install both files if you want to use the new content.

I think not. And it seems to have a bunch of baggage, besides. But thanks for looking/remembering and posting anyway - it was very close indeed. :)

Still hopeful...

It can be http://imasdailyrank.seesaa.net/category/6615229-1.html. About the outfit, I don't know if it is the exact mod, but there's http://www.4shared.com/file/96920078/3130b039/CLOTHES_VOCALOID_01.html.

DR5 has two types of throat cutting. One is stealth-way, you sneak behind your enemy and press shield bash button and your character executes throat cutting animation. Other way is in combat, same way like decapitations work but if you have a dagger equipped it will slit enemy's throat instead of cutting his head off. I don't remember seeing any other mod that gave ability to do this, but I have a feeling you're already using DR

Aha! Thank you. :) Couldn't remember for the life of me. And yeah, turns out it's mod I have used, at one point.

But no, I haven't been using DR for some time now. Waiting for DR6 to get its bugs shaken out, I suppose, so I can give it a whirl. Didn't want to catch anything...

Presumably though, DR6 would have the same throat-cutting happiness to offer me? If so, I will brave it, bugs and all. Not to mention, likely incompatibilities... *sigh*

I'm still using DR5 as it works great. Going to switch to v6 once it's problems are gone.
