Thanks for the suggestion, but I already have this one. But I'm more referring not to sneaking and being able to lose your tail, but that even if they still see you, that someone wouldn't just continue to chase you all the way across Cyrodiil for just entering their patrol in their ruin or for stealing a potato. They should give up and stop chasing you after so many units from the original point they started chasing you... there really is no mod like this? I'm surprised.

Looking for fun mods for gay guys.
Specifically, ones that don't call for my character to date a cat or some other out-of-this-world creation ...

Being a bit more specific would be helpful (for me in any case) but I'll take a wild stab and suggest perusing http://www.slofslair.co.uk site.

Romance quests. Companions. That sort of thing.
Some of the ones I've looked at (Volteirro & Stokker Wolf) really don't appeal to me ...

As for Slof's Hive, 99% of it is just textures. :(

Ah. I don't do romance :D . Perhaps you could use one of the generic companion mods eg. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3066 or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7819 and rely on role-playing? The latter mod has instructions on how to create your own NPC partner and there are some 3rd-party companions (although probably mostly female) available for it.

1- Don't bump a thread if it's been less than 24 hours.

2- You may want to look at Mondstein's companion "Dairanath Avari", and although I am not 100% sure, I believe the love interests in the quest mod "Heart of the Dead" by Middark don't check for gender.

It had been close to that. Sorry.
Thanks for the ideas- like the others, the companions look like something out of the Neverending Story. Isn't there one that's just a plain dude (Breton, Imperial, etc.)?

Well I'd recommend Valtierro but you've already dismissed him. ;) Which is too bad because he is a very well written character. In any case, it's really not that hard to open up the mod in the CS and alter an NPC's appearance to your tastes. *shrug*

Is there a mod to remove http://bildr.no/view/847530 from wearing a "drain attribute" effect armor (like drain fatigue or willpower, an effect achieved from enchanting with Runeskulls)? Wearing any armor that has a "drain attribute" effect will essentially mean that I am perpetually followed by these magical sparks, and I want to remove it...

Am I the only one annoyed by this effect? Initial Glow didn't fix this either. Any pointers appreciated.

My next char will be a female warrior and I'd like some tips on a custom race for her. My current mage is a Moonshadow Elf and I haven't found a race that looks as good - but it would be nice to try out something new and Moonshadow Elves aren't that fitting for warriors anyway IMO. I was thinking a Better Looking Redguard but I can't get it to work with my EVE HGEC setup for some reason. I've also briefly checked out DK High Imperials, which looks amazing in the screenshots, but they looked nothing like that ingame (guess you need to tweak them a lot perhaps). All tips are appreciated.

I just tried enchanting armor pieces with both Drain Fatigue and Drain Mysticism/Alteration (via Runeskulls) and I didn't get any visual effects. Are you sure they aren't added with LAME or something else?

Maybe one of these two?

Or this one from LordOverkill. (My favorite, fits better with the game IMO. :) )

I'm looking for a mod that makes the "thief" leather armor a bit more light looking, considering it's supposed to be light armor. By this, I mean just making the mesh a bit more close-fitting. Has anyone heard of anything like that?

Are there any magic mods out there that retex the spells and don't actually change them in a gameplay way? I've seen some of the magic mods out there and they've just REALLY confused me!

Try searching for 'effect' or 'shader' instead of magic.

Looking for a mod that displays NPC stats in game, like casting a spell at them and a menu appears showing their stats.

Also looking for a mod that takes away the behavior that guards and shop owners know where you are even if your sneak is too high for them to know. Not the crime alarm distance like No Psychic Guards changes, but the AI where they follow you or track you with their head movement even though any other type of NPC would be unable to detect your presence. Not sure if I'm explaining it right, but I assume its an AI package they are given that causes this behavior?
